So, what many (I hope :o) have been waiting for has finally happened. I received the drawings from everyone who announced their participation, and I had enough time to organize everything. Let me reiterate the rules of the contest:

1. Each participant sent me 1 drawing. There are a total of 6 drawings, and therefore 6 participants. Here is the list of those whose artwork I received:

2. Everyone can participate in the voting, including the artists themselves. I decided not to deprive them of this opportunity :) How does the voting work? Anyone who wants to vote leaves a post in which they must clearly indicate in bold font the drawing that they liked the most, and be sure to mention its number! Then, they try to describe why they liked this particular drawing, what makes it appealing, etc. I'm not forcing you, but I recommend also mentioning other drawings and commenting on them. At least with a few words. I assure you, all the drawings are wonderful; you can talk about them for a long time, so don't skimp on your words!

3. In the first post, I will keep track of the votes for each drawing. I will try to update the information as often as possible, indicating also the post up to which I counted the votes.

4. Presumably, the voting will last for 2 weeks, not counting today, i.e., until June 26 inclusive. The deadline may be extended slightly, but not shortened.

5. By the end of the voting, the winner will already be clear. However, he/she will still be announced. Also, I will say who created which drawing :) I haven't decided on the nominations yet, but the quality and quantity of nominations will definitely depend on the content and quality of your comments. I am counting on you ;) Perhaps they will be announced shortly after the end of the voting.

* I had to reduce some of the drawings in size so that they could be placed on the forum (however, I used a low compression rate; we don't need artifacts!). Therefore, I also provide a link to an archive where the drawings are stored exactly as they were sent to me. I apologize to everyone whom I made wait. I won't make excuses; the delay was my fault. I hope no one worried too much :) I always try to finish what I start. However, this isn't about me. Once again, I apologize. I hope you enjoy this contest, and I hope that our artists' enthusiasm doesn't wane, and more contests with a larger number of participants will be held.

P.S. Please do not get upset if you don't win. Artistic creativity is extremely subjective, so victory depends not only on skill but also to some extent on luck and the audience of the forum :)\br>
P.P.S. As for the number, you can find it in the file name. If there are any problems with this, you can determine the number by the order in which the drawing was posted, counting from right to left, from top to bottom. In extreme cases, ask me or others.

yes, the dragon is certainly impressive, and the Egyptian woman (?) turned out quite well...
I'll recognize the familiar pencil style from the druid's drawing;) - but I'll vote for drawing #2 - the hardest thing for me in school was when I had to draw a person... and if we're talking about the face - :smile28: - the drawing teachers didn't go easy on me...
P.S. I really liked the gremlin in the first drawing - it's like a Batman - Morpheus:o

I'll cast my vote for the first drawing :) It's well done and has a good sense of humor :smile40: Although I have nothing against the other entries either :)

I'd like to point out that all the drawings are good, it's a shame we didn't see drawings from four more people, but I'm voting for drawing #3 (the one with the dragon). It's very clear and beautifully drawn (and I've already guessed who it's by), the dragon is simply magnificent. I also liked the drawing with the creature-children; it's quite original.
P.S.: It seems that inquisitor Alaric was like that in his childhood :)

The first drawing is simply amazing :smile40:, especially the demon, skeleton, and gremlin; a very cute girl is sitting on a griffin, which, as I understand, is sitting on a dendroid. I'm just curious - who is this: still with a pacifier in his mouth, but already studying scrolls...

2nd drawing: the cold weapons and accessories on the boots, gloves, and wrist are interestingly drawn; it feels like they were photographed, so realistically it's drawn.

3rd drawing: no comment, classic! Well done!

4th - interesting looks on the girl and the animal, so similar, very cool; but why are they looking in different directions :)

5th - I also don't understand, is this a titan? And what are the shackles on him? :)

6th - and this is done in pencil? Beautiful...

Thank you to everyone who participated in the contest. It's a pity that I can't draw myself... In school, I probably drew like ewgeniy, but much worse. Well, at least I'm glad to see the drawings of others.

P.S. I forgot to say, I'm voting for the 1st drawing.

Everyone did a great job, the drawings are beautiful :) However, it's immediately obvious who drew what – you can feel the style, and I'm sure everyone will recognize my work at first glance :o To be honest, I really liked drawing #6; the portrait of the heroine would be perfect for a new campaign, if there will be any :D That's why I'm voting for it. This doesn't mean that I liked the others less, but the sixth one immediately caught my attention :)

Good day to all.

First of all, thank you to everyone who found the time, opportunity, and courage to share their creations. Secondly, everything written below is just my opinion, and I ask you not to be offended if something seems offensive to you. First, I will comment on each drawing, point out the ones I liked the most, and then – announce the winner. Let's go:

The first drawing – It's nice, but a bit careless. I liked the book and the cross – how those poor little guys are carrying them? ))

The second drawing – The weapon was impressive even in the small version. Overall, the drawing turned out great. I would say it's professional.

The third drawing – The dragon is also impressive. The detail and the rendering of the dragon itself… It's a pity there is no background.

The fourth drawing – Even though it's a bit pale (we'll attribute this to a bad scanner/camera that didn't allow the drawing to be displayed properly), you can still see the author's effort to pay attention to everything – the heroine, her kitten, and even the surrounding nature were not forgotten. This is often forgotten… So, the author did a good job!

The fifth drawing – As in the previous one, I like the attention to the entire drawing. Clear outlines, attention to the details of the character's clothing. The composition is interesting – making the character look at a distant Castle. Although (in my opinion), the lightning (were those supposed to be lightning on the character's body?) would have looked better in blue or light blue…

The sixth drawing – And this drawing is impressive. The mastery of pencils is simply magnificent. The drawing has character – a girl with character (it can be seen in her gaze, in the slight squint). The hand remains unclear to me – no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't figure out how to position the hand like that. Either my hands are not that developed, or I didn't understand it correctly, or the girl is not a human and she could twist herself like that…

In the end: drawings number 2, number 3, and number 6 were contenders for the top spot. In the second and sixth, I really liked the people – I love drawing people myself. Although the hand in the sixth and the attempts to retouch the drawing somewhat spoiled the impression. The third is magnificent, but it would have been more complete with a background.

And I will still give the first place to the second drawing – for the correctly drawn person, for the attention to detail (clothing, background), for the magnificent weapon (which I can never draw).

The best artist is the one who drew canvas #2. :smile02:
But since I can't draw myself, I liked all the drawings... I especially want to highlight #1... the idea really appealed to me... maybe it could be used somewhere on the forum, as a design or background for a rating table, for example, in the Heroes 5 section... of course, if the author agrees ;)

I don't want to offend anyone, but I'm voting for the third drawing, that is, the dragon. I don't know how to explain why I like it, but I'll put it simply: "I just like it, that's all!" ^_^
