I hope Mephisto won't be offended if I answer this question :) Simas, we decided to limit the drawing to hero-related themes. You can draw a unit if you want. I think many people will draw units :) Regarding drawing multiple units, I think it's possible if they are connected by some common storyline. (so that it's still one drawing, and not several on one sheet) Regarding the second point: what do you mean by "not from the Heroes universe"? :) If it's some abstract background, then please go ahead. And if you're talking about it needing to look harmonious, then why not?

P.S. We talked to Mephisto in ICQ about the contest. As soon as he has time, he will create a topic in the "Contests" section, where he will post all the information about it, including the participant table. On June 10th (if Mephisto doesn't decide to change anything, after all, he's the organizer), the drawings will be posted, and the contest will begin :)

Regarding the second point: what do you mean by "surroundings that are not from the heroes"?

For example, putting a dark sorceress and a vampire in a car or on a motorcycle.
Or depicting a monk reciting a prayer to a group of peasants...

Of course, all the heroes will be drawn in the clothes that are typical for them in the game, but in an unusual setting for the game... that's the idea.

Archlich, please send the drawing to my email. As soon as the contest starts, I will post all the drawings in one post, number them in a random order, and no one but me will know who drew which drawing, so that the voting is as objective as possible. Of course, someone might guess based on the drawing style, etc., but there's nothing I can do about that. If you want, you can give the drawing a title.

If no one objects, I will run the contest. Or, if Mephisto doesn't show up before it starts :)

As soon as I have time, I will create a topic in the "contests" section with a table of participants and other information. I will also add the drawings to the first post on June 10th. Yes, June 10th. If someone doesn't have time, please send me a message on ICQ or write a PM, I can postpone the contest for a few days (no more than 3). Send 1 drawing on a Heroes-themed topic. If you sent a drawing, and later drew another one, and it seems better to you, send it too, but be sure to indicate that you are replacing the first drawing you sent. It is not forbidden to draw units; it is all up to you. The voting rules, as well as the nominations, still need to be considered; they will be published later. Participants, please note that the submission period for drawings will soon end. You only have the rest of today and the night of June 10th to submit (or create?) your drawings. So far, there are only 5 drawings, but as many as 10 people have expressed interest in participating! Let's be more active! The more drawings, the more interesting the contest will be ;)
