A friend suggested I watch a movie, and when I asked what it was about, he replied, "You'll understand when you watch it."
I prepared myself for another sci-fi movie, judging by the title, and I hadn't seen any advertisements for it. Of course, the copy I received was a pirated one, but it turned out to be of decent quality.
The film simply amazed me with its strong ideological message. I believe that more films like this should be made and shown to all those who admire and sympathize with current trends – rappers, punks, neo-Nazis, etc. I would like to see the thoughts of our forum members about this film and everything it touches upon, especially regarding patriotic education and one of Locken's phrases, that only war will help us now, etc.

We don't need too many films like this, but more than there are now, so I voted for the first option. Despite noticing some flaws during the viewing, I didn't want to remember them after the film ended.
This is the second film that receives a rating of 9.5/10 from me; no other film has received a higher rating.

The film is excellent! It definitely deserves the first answer option!!! Perhaps there were some minor flaws here and there, and some aspects could have been better developed... But these insignificant moments can be forgiven due to the magnificent IDEA and the stunning lore. I recommend it to everyone, wholeheartedly, and not from the perspective of propaganda. Absolutely not. The film is great precisely because there is no propaganda in it; the authors and the characters do not impose anything on the viewer. The viewer decides for themselves.

The girl is truly pitiable, and so is that guy. There's no need to fight; we just need to know how much effort and perseverance it took to win that war. And why are American films so popular now? Because America is losing (losing badly), while the American soldier is super-duper, tearing everyone to shreds. And then they hand out medals from the general himself, or maybe even from Stalin himself.
P.S. - I think someone watched the new Hitman movie; it's supposedly the 21st century, and so on. But the action takes place in Russia, and the funniest thing is that the Americans are always fleeing from the police in cool cars, and guess what they're driving? Volgas from the 20th century. I don't know what I'm getting at; it's just funny to watch how Russia is being shamelessly portrayed + I gave you an example. As for this film, I don't know; maybe it proves the opposite!

Well, what can I say? It's an excellent piece of work, one of the few Russian masterpieces. Although vodka was also featured in it :[br][/br] Regardless, the film is quite... psychological. Four guys... members of a guild, engaged in a rather delicate craft, almost perfectly reflect the mentality of modern society. Hmm... and that's how they ended up in the war. And from such a bunch of uncouth individuals, it turned them into people who bravely charge into a pillbox. But what stuck in my memory is the miraculously surviving "Fa," scraping the skin off his hand with a sharp stone to remove the hated swastika. That's how a shivering, frozen skinhead turned into a real person.
It's strange... many thoughts are swirling around, but it's not possible to express everything in words. That's the kind of film it is, I guess.
...As for my opinion about the war, I only strengthened my views. After smelling gunpowder, few will return to their previous state. Yes, some will start drinking... but the worldview in the country will change dramatically. And if we survive, well, it will probably be for the better.

Okay, okay, it's a good movie, I agree, but it doesn't quite reach masterpiece level. I do feel sorry for the girl, though. It's nice that young people noticed that, because I was a bit hesitant to mention it in my first post. In my opinion, the actress Ekaterina Klimova gave the best performance and made up for many of the shortcomings of the younger actors (like that of Borman). She portrayed it very poignantly and truthfully.

The point is, it wasn't copied :) For example, I immediately understood that the guy had read this work, and he's the one who's imitating it, not the director ;) And it couldn't have turned out badly, precisely for this reason :)

I have my own opinion. I was only able to watch the first 15 minutes. I didn't have the energy for the rest... Here's my take.

I don't think this episode is very similar to the episode in the film "The Destiny of a Man." If you compare the setting of the conversation in both films, and even the overall meaning of the plots, it doesn't really seem like these films are similar.
In general, I'm glad that many people perceived this film almost the same way I did. After all, it is true that there is a memory in our blood, and this war touched every family in our long-suffering country. And rightfully, we are called a great people. We remember, or if not us, then our subconscious remembers that the Russian person does not bend in their will and freedom. The entire old world, which is now so praised, was under the fascists. And we, who came out of the taiga and drink vodka with a bear (don't think I'm talking about the ruling party), defeated this scum.
It will be the same with everyone, and I think at any time and in any century. The words spoken by the actor Cherkasov in the film Alexander Nevsky are confirmed by the history of our people: "Whoever comes to us with a sword will perish by the sword."
At the end of the film, symbolically, it seemed to me that this neo-Nazi was tearing off the swastika and looking at the crowd of fascists with disgust.
