With a slight delay, having overcome some difficulties, I am finally opening registration for the first ever online tactical tournament for Heroes of Might and Magic 5.
I will briefly explain what it is and how it works. This tournament will be interesting for those who play on maps and for those who enjoy duels.
After the game starts, you will be teleported to your castle, where you can buy troops, purchase artifacts in the shop, and visit buildings that are unique to each race (Mages - Obelisk +3 to Knowledge, Dungeon - Spellbook, Necromancer - Crypt, where you can raise a certain number of undead, but not depending on the amount of dark energy, but only on the Necromancy skill). Of course, each race can also use its racial features. That is, in the castle, Mages and Dungeon have a shop (in addition to the main one, which everyone has); Mages can create artifacts; Elves have units teleported to them, from which you can create sworn enemies after killing them. In the center of the map, there is a mentor and a war machine workshop.
In the "courtyard" of each castle, there is a special building. By entering it, you can level up for free up to level 15. You can level up to 20, but for money. You can receive monetary compensation for non-working (because the movement on the map is infinite) logistics, the amount of which depends on the skill level. It is obtained in a certain way (you need to forget about it), which on a regular map gives +1 to magic.
The range of tactics on this map is infinite. Because for each opponent, a specific hero, a special tactic, and so on are created. In addition to everything else, it is addictive in itself, because the process is dynamic, like in a duel, but requires brain work like when developing on a map.
I don't think I missed anything important.
In general, you won't lose anything, but you will only gain valuable experience.
Now, everything is definitely clear.
The archive with the map and replay of one of the games (or rather, its climax - the battle) is attached to this message. Why a replay? You will see how interesting the games on this map are. How engaging and exciting they are from start to finish.

Tournament Regulations
Tournament format: the tournament takes place in two stages: group and final.
Games within groups are played in a round-robin system, and in the final stage, a play-off system is used.
The tournament dates will be determined after the registration is closed. After that, the draw will be held.
1. After each battle, be sure to save the replay, and the winner of the battle should send it to 355-654-648, that is, to me on ICQ. Replays of all battles will be posted after the end of the tournament in a separate topic.
2. The first turn is skipped so that it is possible to save the starting layout. Also, be sure to skip a turn before the battle itself to save your progress in case of a disconnection.
3. Group stage
Each player plays two games with each opponent in the group. Before a new battle, the participant re-crosses out 3 castles of the opponent. The first game is created by the player listed higher in the tournament table. The second is created by the player listed lower. The player who created the game starts crossing out castles. Castles are crossed out in turn. If the opponent crossed out a race, this does not mean that he crossed it out for both of you; he crosses it out only for you. And you only for him. Therefore, you can choose which race to play from 8-3=5 races that have not been crossed out.
The battle takes place on the home territory of the first player.
After all the games in the group have been played, the places are determined by the total number of points - the first two places continue to the final stage. In case of a tie in points, the places are determined by: a) the largest number of "clean" games (2-0); b) the results of personal duels; c) the coefficient; d) the date of the last match.
