3.0 is the second expansion for Heroes, "Tribes of the East." You can't update, you have to buy it.

The Silver Edition contains the original Heroes V and the first expansion, "Hammers of Fate." Now there is a Gold Edition, which includes the original game plus both expansions.

a) The creator of the game server interrupted the game:)
b) Disconnection. This happens to some players on Ubi.com. There's nothing you can do about it until a patch is released, so just play with other players.
