I recently started playing duels in Heroes of Might and Magic V... And I was simply horrified by the rude and impolite players, especially the foreigners. Here's an example of how they insulted me for refusing to play with a non-standard hero (I don't even know how to create them yet). I wonder who among our esteemed forum members plays there and what your opinion is about this cruelty... maybe you have some funny stories... and can you explain to me – what are these non-standard heroes and how do you create them? For example, when you only have 300 archers in your army... :smile32:

I generally despise such people; they're complete noobs because one person might have a better, albeit unconventional, approach than another. This option is completely unnecessary. And non-standard creatures are created in the map editor for the Tribes of the East. Regarding cruelty, people are different, so you need to know who to communicate with and who not to. And just ignore their senseless insults.

Sometimes, it's best to just stay silent. Often, this only irritates the opponent even more. And that's fine. We need to conserve our nerve cells; it's not easy to restore them.

Even when I lose, I always thank my opponent for the game, if, of course, he was also polite. After all, there might be an Abram from the village of Pereperdyailovka on the other end of the line, and he's just having a bad day... we need to be more tolerant. Or more condescending.

Well, we really need to stop with the rudeness. Personally, when I played with foreigners, I didn't encounter any rude players. Instead, I encountered noobs who, when they started a match and realized they were losing, would immediately quit. It really ANNOYS me!

I played with Deep Mike, Kama, PReDS, Lovelass, and Antonplat – they were all very friendly, and it was a pleasure to play and chat with them. In general, the players in the second Heroes game are very polite, friendly, and well-mannered.

I didn't play much at the YUBI, and only with friends... or acquaintances from the forum! Everyone behaved politely and correctly :) Overall, it was pleasant and interesting to play! Although, I lost in most cases :)
Not all foreigners are rude and ignorant. At least, regarding the World Championship for Heroes 4, I haven't heard a single complaint about our foreign colleagues, and there are quite a few of them there. On the contrary, everyone is quite friendly, they always wish you good luck, and thank you for the game, even if they lose! The only inappropriate thing is ignoring games :( This is really disappointing. Not everyone who signed up actually played, and not everyone warned about being unable to play, which is a pity. But this applies to both foreigners and our compatriots, and ultimately, they suffer the most... they missed out on a lot.

Here's another situation: Heroes 5 is very popular today! And, naturally, a huge number of people play it all over the world! Not everyone is well-mannered, polite, and able to lose with dignity! Heroes 4 is more democratic in this regard; being perhaps the least popular series, it nevertheless brings together the most loyal fans, for whom the game is more important than personal ambitions and self-satisfaction! There aren't as many players online in Heroes 4 compared to Heroes 5 or 3, and as a rule, most of them know each other well, so conflicts are rare!
Based on my own experience, I had one unpleasant incident when an opponent, after losing, allowed himself to express himself very rudely towards me (I won't quote it), but I simply didn't respond, although of course I wanted to. In the end, he realized that he was wrong and apologized. And, by the way, it wasn't a foreigner!
I communicated with foreigners only twice. The first time, I was helping my husband play. Our foreign opponent was very polite and courteous; even after losing, he thanked us for the game and said that he would like to play again.
And with the other foreigner, a rather amusing story happened.
It was in Hamachi, during the preparation for the World Championship! Seeing my nickname, my foreign colleague wrote:
"Hi Man!" )))
Of course, I said that I am not a man, to which he said that I was probably just teasing him. In the end, he believed that I was a girl, we had a nice conversation, and we agreed to play the next day! By the way, he is from Croatia, and I conveyed thanks to him from all of Russia (I think everyone knows why). He was very surprised and said that he was pleased and that no one had ever thanked him for football! However, we never managed to play... The next day, Hamachi crashed completely, and then there was no opportunity.
So, so far, my communication with foreigners has been friendly, and no unpleasant stories have occurred! I wish the same for all of you!
In general, that's what I wanted to say. As they say: "Every nation has its own individuals - "There's a black sheep in every family"! And "All that glitters is not gold"! Don't waste your nerves on people who don't deserve it! Nerve cells don't regenerate! If they insult you, say: "Thank you for the game!" and leave the game without saying anything else, remember the nickname, and don't play with that person again, and don't advise your friends to either! The main thing is to remain calm and dignified! Don't sink to their level. In the end, they will lose more.
