I've nominated myself for the section on Heroes 3 – it would be very convenient for me, and I plan to visit the forum at least once a week. But many people message me on ICQ – if they have problems with installing Heroes 3, I help them; if it's about the physics engine, I send them to Amber; if it's about the Chronicles, I send them to Xel... There are many examples of how I can help, and isn't playing the game and providing mutual support the main priorities of this forum? All those off-topic discussions are fine, but let's not forget what brought us all here in the first place.

That's why we need active moderators who are close to the "community," not some semi-divine figures (and that's the impression I get when I read their posts) who only visit the forum once every five years.

It's already too late to discuss anything (and it's also too late to suggest candidates). 2. No one is saying that everyone will become a moderator, especially since the shortage of moderators has almost disappeared (new moderators have appeared, and there is a third coordinator). 3. The Creator makes the final decision. The argument is pointless.

In my section, there are 3 moderators (including myself), and everyone shows up several times a week, so the section is active.

there are also people interested in moderating for Heroes 5 (4 people, if I'm not mistaken), and there are volunteers for Heroes 3... and they are all participating in this vote =)

P.S. I don't think that many moderators are needed in the Heroes 3 section right now. I suggest adding Evgeny there (he definitely needs to be!). And that will be enough... But in Heroes 5, there's a lot of junk....:( Active moderators are urgently needed there, IMHO.

This would be very helpful. It will be immediately clear how people are working; if off-topic posts aren't removed, there will be someone to complain to. I would like to be such a moderator in the Academy/Stronghold. The reason is simple: these are my two favorite factions. Also, I visit the forum more than once a day, every day. So, here:)... I couldn't handle the entire section for Heroes 5 with my modem, which is why I didn't apply for the elections, but I would clean up one section (the Academy/Stronghold).

Yes, having eight mini-moderators would definitely be helpful, and they would do their job on time because everything is transparent. At one point, I declined an offer to become a moderator, but I could have focused on the "Gameplay" topic. Oh well. And it's not even certain that such a system will be created, but something needs to be done because things have really gotten out of hand, and reforms are needed. First and foremost, the "General" and "Gameplay" threads need to be cleaned up. For example, if there's a closed thread in the "General" section that has clearly run its course, why wouldn't its creator post the link in the "General" section? That alone would help clean up the section. However, this is just my opinion, so it's up to the higher authorities to decide.
