I always play randomly in 3x3, it's boring to play with the same units. But still, Razazak is the coolest. If he casts Stone Skin (a general ability) right away, and then Gremlins start repairing, the golems become a real problem. Demons are cool only in 3x3. First, you don't play as a demon. When the opponent has few units left (regardless of whether you win or lose), you switch to a demon and open the gate. The enemy isn't stupid (probably) and will also switch heroes. Then you switch to a third hero because everyone just attacks demons head-on, and when the gate opens, you bring the demons back into the fight. In the end, half the field is covered in demons. If they can't defeat them, they'll overwhelm them.
P.S. Have you tried playing demons against demons this way? There's no room to maneuver on the map.
