The Second Annual Offline Tournament "Best of the Best".

The tournament is held once a year, using the map that took 1st place on our website as a result of the best map contest www.heroesworld.ru for Heroes 3.


1. To participate in the same tournament for Heroes 3, you must register on our website and leave an application in this thread.

2. The tournament is conducted on the Russian version of Heroes 3 The Shadow of Death with patch 3.2.

3. The goal of the game is to complete the map in the minimum number of days.
In case of a tie in days, the qualifying criterion is the sum of primary skills (attack, defense, magic, knowledge) INCLUDING EQUIPPED ARTIFACTS; if a favorite still cannot be determined, then by the amount of mercury.

4. Discussion of the tournament during its progress is FORBIDDEN!!!
If the organizer or their assistant finds documented evidence of tournament discussion anywhere on the Internet, they have the right to permanently exclude such player(s) from participating in tournaments at www.heroesworld.ru. The results of such players will not be counted and will be annulled.
Additionally, the tournament organizer reserves the right to conclude that a discussion took place between players if players from the same clan completed the tournament in an identical manner.

5. The use of any cheats or bugs during the final walkthrough is prohibited. The result will be annulled.

In the event of a "+5 monsters X" week or "monster X" month, the player must not replay the transition of the week/month.

6. It is forbidden: to use cheating programs, codes, as well as additional software that can change the structure of the game.

7. In case a player is suspected of cheating or other malicious intent while completing the map, it is necessary to make a save before every significant event (for example, before a battle, before hiring another hero). The result of a player who played dishonestly, as well as one who failed to send their description (saves) on time upon the tournament organizer's request, will be annulled and further participation in tournaments will be impossible. This will also reflect poorly on their reputation.

8. Sequence of actions for participating in the tournament:

1. Download the save.

2. The downloaded save must be placed on your computer in the GAMES folder of the installed Heroes 3.

3. Load it and begin playing at any time convenient for you, while remembering to make intermediate saves.

4. After reaching the final action (after which victory occurs), save again.
The submitted save must contain only one hero (others should simply be dismissed).
Save name: the save must contain the tournament number (6), the participant's number in the application table, the abbreviation (BB - Best of the best), and the player's Nick.

Example:
6_1_BB_Kyle.GM1

5. A full description of the tournament map is encouraged (optional). If provided, a contest for the best description will be held, and 10 of them (the very best) will take their place of honor in the "Hall of Fame" section!

6. Send this save to the specified address (in the rules of this tournament).

7. Wait for the results.

9. Final saves should be sent to the address kylegoogl@gmail.com.

10. The tournament starts on 12.12.2007 and will last until 16.01.2008 (inclusive until 24-00 Moscow time). Only one final save is accepted from the player.
Results will be published no later than 21.01.2008.

Additionally, leave a message in this thread stating that you have sent the save.
After receiving your save, you will see in the application table that:
save accepted - indicated by bold Nick.
save counted - indicated by green bold Nick.
save not counted - indicated by red bold Nick.

hmm... I'm really curious... will Dmitry_A_S and Radik participate in WW2? =)
