Gorgons are strong, that's undeniable, but show me someone who can defeat them with level 7 units. Even Grand Griffins will tear them apart on their own territory. I'm for the Birds; they're agile and have lightning attacks (though rarely, Eye is more common – just choose an odd number, and it will be more powerful). In the Dungeon, Minotaurs rule, even Cyclops are no problem for them (Titan Pride map is an example). And Magma – there are two heroes with whom the attack damage, etc., is the same as for Phoenixes, but there are more of them.

I figured out the Elves and Centaurs, but what about the second one...?

Dig around, there's a universal creature transformation spell, and then you can just upgrade Royal Elves. =) And what prevents you from defeating a 7th-level Gorgon? In a battle, 200 Might Gorgons won against 10 Azure Gorgons, and they even took down 4 dragons at once! Strength lies in valor! The Gorgons have plenty of it. :)

A powerful Lich! For me, Gorogona and the Djinn are still very strong – they are excellent warriors, and they are “the very best” for me.

I would have liked to vote for the Dendroid and the Thunderbird, but I can't. Mighty Gorgon. Gorgon - Dragon Slayer, we can recall fixes like Belarus-2, LoM, Guardians, or many utopias on random maps.

Dendroids are strong, but slow; I don't like them because I can't use them effectively. And gargoyles, you're right, they're dragon killers! They're FOREVER!!! Birds... yes, they're cool! But for some reason, people like to kill them (I don't like fanatics... I just don't like them...).

regarding the fanatics:
I think they are decent as warriors.
if we're talking about aesthetics, I like the monks more than the fanatics.

I personally find the Mighty Liches to be quite aesthetically pleasing... :) They are drawn with a good level of detail and originality.

In terms of special abilities, IMHO, Dakolich has already surpassed him. But making someone stronger, but rare and expensive, would be a good idea. The problem is that .59 has been in development for a long time, and you can make a stronger monster using scripts. PS: I still haven't had the time to look into what it is and how it works.

You're right; these are true Heroes of Might and Magic players, so powerful that we are mere pawns compared to them. Personally, I always eliminate Gorgons first because my army is important to me. PS: I didn't mean to offend anyone, but this unique ability is probably one of the best!

I usually play as Necropolis and Conflux, so I'm not particularly afraid of the gaze ability, but Gorgons also have good defense, attack, and health, which makes battles more challenging. Sometimes it's easier to defeat Wyverns and Hydras than Gargoyles, so they are strong even without the gaze ability, just like Dryads, but I still prefer the latter less, even though they are powerful.
