Mages are a complete letdown in this game! I can't seem to beat this level with them! I'll just use Godric and finish the game with him, and Zehir can go to hell.

I like them all too, especially the Mages! Everyone keeps saying that Mages are the weakest and the ugliest. Some people can't even complete the campaign (are they playing as or against Mages?). Are Necropolis or Stronghold units more beautiful (with all their plagues, flies, and garbage in the cities)? Are Dark Elves stronger? Do they have a larger unit growth rate (except for undead)? Is Mage magic weak (especially considering summoning, with its banishment ability, against demons and summoners), and their mana pool, with Education as the main stat? And is a mini-artifact with Education under 40 really that bad (so you wouldn't need to take Leadership or Luck, since the mini-artifact gives +4 to both)? In the last campaign of the new expansion, Mages crushed everyone! How can you call Mages the worst and the least worthy race after all that?:mad: :confused: :mad:

I don't like mages. Although, as a unit, I really like Rakshasa. And also, purely aesthetically speaking, those elephants that mages ride on are annoying. They don't seem to run, but rather glide. It's especially funny how they "park" facing away from the castle. Dear Mages, no offense.

Inferno and Academy are complete garbage!!!!!
The Academy only has decent units in the form of Titans and Rakshasa.
The hero's mana will eventually run out, no matter what.
You have to search for a magic well after every major battle.

There are few people who clearly and concisely write why they don't like Mages (and any race), he directly wrote that it's difficult to play against them with Necromancers! ... IMHO ... and they can't say directly that they can't play them (play poorly), or against them, maybe something else... I personally like Mages. I agree. It's ordinary, but when you play as them, you feel like a hero! I also wanted to add one faction to my list of least favorites – Inferno.

My least favorite race is Humans. They're just too generic. There are only two creatures, and one of them looks exactly like a human. And all the other levels feature humans... It gets boring.

I completely agree. I love mages, whether they are dark, necromancers, light, archmages, druids, etc., but I don't like humans at all... I can't be convinced otherwise... :(
