Raikou (Lightning) -USHI GOZEN BATTLE- 4. is this from Wukong? the intro is too harsh and loud, hitting you in the head (in a bad way). at times there's just too much going on, in my opinion. overall, there's an overabundance of "tense" music. there are brief lulls, but that rattle grates on me for almost the entire track, and so the score is below average (average is 5, not 7 like today's game journalists)
Baldur's Gate 3 - Ketheric Thorm Battle Theme - Mix - 5. why the hell send 10 minutes? instead of sending the menu music from the second part and getting 10 points. and yes, I didn't send one of my picks because it had wailing/mumbling for 20 seconds. expect a 7-minute track next time

Hermodr A Helferd - 3. I guess I sometimes worry for nothing that some of my picks have too drawn-out intros (40-50 seconds), since somewhere out there it lasts the whole track. -1 sanity
Chaos Contained - 7. finally some actual development, and you can really listen to it intentionally rather than just as background noise
DANCE MONKEY (Piano Cover) - Peter Bence - 5. for the original I'd give more x) in general, I don't really like it when people change the arrangement or tempo etc. of a melody when making a cover or just performing it on some instrument. that is, if you make a rock version, then don't change anything, just make a rock version without any of your own additions. and in other cases too. if you play on violin or keyboards, then just play it as intended. some also make some kind of jazz version, and in the end only 1 in 100 attempts turns out well, in the rest of the cases it's hard to listen to and it feels like they just st****d a couple of samples and made their own track.

Glenn Proudfoot - Perfect - you asked for some guitar yourself... there was also this option, but given last year + the fact that it's partly my childhood nostalgia, I didn't choose it. but for me it's one of the top game melodies (the original is 8-bit, by the way). on VK there's an even lighter and more musical cover, but it's not on YouTube, so I only considered this one, besides the original (maybe there are better ones too).

There are so many things in these reviews that I disagree with.

I thought it was from the sixth installment, but the essence remains largely the same, as I believe the fourth game has some even better tracks. I don't even remember this one.

This is the best track out of the four, perfectly fitting the contest criteria. The magnificent and divine Chaos theme features vocals... and thanks to them, it became the best track in the game.

I listened to it twice – it didn't quite resonate with me. The visuals are good.
I listened to it a third time after the entire playlist. It's the only one that's a bit more upbeat. I'll give it extra points just because of the overall mood.
