Why don't the codes work in the first Heroes game? Besides revealing the map, you can't use them to add resources or summon dragons!
Can anyone help me? Has anyone else encountered this issue?

In the first game, there is only one working cheat – to reveal the map. If you have encountered links to other codes, then those were just myths.

As for the codes, there is indeed only one "official cheat" for Heroes of Might and Magic I - revealing the map.
