I also think I encountered a bug in the game. I had a hero named Laszlo who was defending the city. And then Laszlo reappeared in the tavern. So, I could have two Laszlos on the map. That's very strange.

The game has files for two Laslos: one Laslo for regular scenarios, and another Laslo with the internal name Mardigo, who is for campaigns. I assume you were playing with the campaign Laslo (Mardigo), and then a regular Laslo dropped by the tavern for a drink 🙃.

Wow, that's cool. I didn't even know about that.
When approaching the prophet with Alaric, after the cutscene, I cannot do anything, as the game thinks that my character is still moving, as indicated by the hourglass cursor. I am playing the Steam version. How can I fix this bug? Sincerely.
Thank you for the excellent scenario, but I can't complete it due to a bug: When approaching Ishkebal with Alaric, after the cutscene, I can't do anything because the game thinks my character is still moving, as indicated by the hourglass cursor. I'm playing the Steam version. How can I fix this bug? Sincerely.
P.S. I'm replaying it now (I completed this scenario successfully with the native troops, my review is on page 5), but on the second playthrough, I encountered problems and questions. So... I defeated Ishkebal and immediately had a second battle with a doppelganger. Question for the author... after the words "better put on your cloak, the battle is coming," is the cloak supposed to be equipped automatically? Because it doesn't seem to be. Otherwise, how do you explain this: I fought Ishkebal (screenshot attached) with Necromancer troops (converting all the castles into undead, thus ruining my Sympathy and Retribution skills – I just didn't feel like running to the mentor). So... in the second battle, I'm facing my mirror image with the same Necromancer troops. If I have the cloak equipped, why can't I use Berserk and Subjugation? They are grayed out in the book (screenshot). I don't have any dwarven items on (screenshot). So, the cloak isn't equipped? The hero isn't active between battles (so I can't put on the cloak myself)! Why even have the cloak of Sandro as a requirement? Why shout, "better put on your cloak, the battle is coming"? Doesn't that imply that you'll be fighting undead in the darkness!? Second... if this is a mirror army, why do I have 26 dragons, and my doppelganger has 86? All other troops are roughly equal! But never mind the number! How do I control this? Is the cloak even necessary?
I'll ask the author to respond.P.S. and a request to the authors: give players the ability to save the game themselves! This is a necessity for the player; this isn't a shooter where everything depends on reaction time.
What good is your autosave when I can't even check my inventory? Why is it even needed if you haven't even written the conditions for the final battle in a separate file? Players aren't testers; they shouldn't have to rush into a second battle after a half-hour first battle and then find out that they wasted half an hour in the first battle (and spent 2 hours replaying and choosing different troops) because they didn't know the winning conditions! To avoid these kinds of questions, don't make battles non-stop! (There are already enough scenarios with these "marathons"). What's with some people doing this? In short, I'm giving this scenario a negative rating because the author himself ruined the ending by not anticipating this troop and hero combination!P.P.S. and the last screenshot (since I have a rooster) is my doppelganger, Alaric 2, and his artifacts (if it's a mirror image, he would be wearing the cloak!). And in general, the cloak of Sandro is misleading... it could have been some kind of Necromancer Amulet, and no one would have asked any questions. In short, I still stand by my first "P.S."
And also... any experienced player in the game knows that a mix of 6 castles (2 demons, 1 legion, 1 our castle, and 2 necropolises) can be easily solved by simply using the Necropolis castle as the quickest path to victory
, so that's the most obvious choice for the final race and troops. So, write in the winning conditions: don't fight undead! Third place! Otherwise, the map is good.
Good day to you!
I just finished playing your map, and I'm still impressed – in a good way, of course. The map is really well done; everything is thought out, and everything makes sense. I had to replay the beginning and the final battle a couple of times, but otherwise, everything can be completed successfully with the hero.
Thank you for the positive emotions!)

Walkthrough
The start wasn't very good: on the eighth day, Ishkibal appeared with medium difficulty, and a week of festivals was announced. I distracted Ishkibal with an additional hero, but on the 15th day, he approached the city; if Alaric stays there, he attacks. I gave him the city, retreated a bit, Ishkibal ran away in another direction, and on the 18th day, I retook the city. On the fourth week, Ishkibal and Ravenna were already near the city, both with medium difficulty. I killed Ravenna in the field (losses: 3 militia, 1 archer, 31 pikemen), and Ishkibal didn't attack and ran away somewhere.Enemy heroes (demons, necromancers, warlocks) were roaming the map, but only the resurrected Ravenna dared to attack the castle (an easy battle, losses: 1 militia, 2 archers, 7 pikemen); the others were afraid. Alaric's skills: Light, Darkness, attack, defense, education. Later, I replaced attack with logistics. On the 52nd day, Alaric learned the portal spell to the city; now, I could move away from the starting city, but I often returned. I couldn't find vampirism, regeneration, or resurrection
. Because of this, I had to choose the strategy of "not rushing anywhere and accumulating archangels." All enemy heroes had very low or low difficulty. There were sometimes losses, but the troop increase was much greater. I lost archangels only against Grok (1) and Sorgalla (4). I spent a lot of time chasing enemies, capturing cities, having them taken away, and recapturing them. I killed Ishkibal for the first time on the 95th day (very low difficulty, no losses); after that, I always agreed to an autobattle against him: the losses were insignificant, and manually, there was an unpleasant script. On the 138th day, I defeated all active enemies.
Then, I roamed the map and finally found regeneration (if I had known earlier...) and resurrection. I removed logistics from the mentor and took leadership. The astrologer's guard joined Alaric (109 bone dragons). I defeated Deidre without losses and learned vampirism. Next, I need to defeat Naadir. Because of what will happen to Alaric after the battle (the scenario is so well-known that I already knew about it), there is a funny situation where it is more advantageous for us to lose more troops, and for winning with minimal losses, the author will punish us
. The battle is easy to win, but it takes a lot of time to kill your own troops. Obviously, this is done by raising them, but there, the counterspell often triggered. In the end, I won against Naadir, remaining with only one squad of inquisitors. The next battle is a very easy victory without losses; the scenario was completed in 222 days. For me, this scenario turned out to be not difficult. In the first month, it was important to play correctly on the strategic map, but after that, there were no problems. The final part of the scenario is more time-consuming than difficult, if you know the rules of the game in advance. If I hadn't known them, I probably would have had to replay the battle with Naadir once.
Of the things I liked most about the scenario, I can note the interesting scripts, the well-designed map, and the beautiful cutscenes.
Thank you very much for the map!
It was 2026, and I just found out that you can play user-created scenarios.
This is the first scenario I completed after finding it on a forum; I played on the "Hero" difficulty level.
I see some people took much less time to complete it, but it took me two full days to reach the final battle. I also like to explore every corner of the map.
After defeating everyone, it was time for PvE. I spent a lot of time collecting everything possible, and apparently, this was a mistake because when I reached the finale, the enemy had an overwhelming amount of troops.
I tried playing with an undead army, but the author cleverly set a trap in this part.
In the end, it took me another two days for this battle, and I haven't felt such emotions from a victory before.
A huge thank you to the author for this scenario; it was magnificent!
