Posts from Discussion of the "HeroesWorld vs Heroes.by" tournament.
I don't know what to call it yet; maybe the players will suggest a name. In principle, this is what it will be: For now, it's clear what version of the game it will be: Heroes version TE1.03q Regarding the rules, nothing is clear yet, but I think that if we choose the game version .by, we will choose the rules as well:) 1 - The tournament will be held on fixed maps (standard TE maps) 2 - Difficulty 200% 3 - Time limit - 1800 + 300 I think these are the three fundamental points. If everyone agrees, I can start working on the tournament post.
Zhenya, could you also find out who among us is at least PLANNING to participate?
Если тебе не везёт в жизни, - играй в какую-нибудь другую игру:rolleyes: Лидер клана "Из многих единое" Приключения – это сплошные неприятности, только про них почему-то потом интересно вспоминать...
Tanya, if we don't have enough people, I'm sure some players from the "B" team will represent our team. But it's too early to talk about that now; we need to discuss the rules first, and then it will be clear who will participate and who won't.
Okay... everything in the post above is fine with me... Just about the maps - which ones are they? Maybe you could post them? I haven't seen them and I want to at least get a general idea beforehand - maybe a random map will turn out to be more advantageous ;) What if?;)

Okay, it seems to be missing from the archive. The maps are available in The Editor (TE); you can view them there. As far as I understand, Yurka played in TE, so it should be on his computer. You can check; the maps will have "TE" in parentheses in the title. We need to choose the most suitable ones, but we'll do that later. Let's see what others have to say.
THE PASSIONS HAVE SUBSIDED, THE GRUMBLING HAS CEASED A COMPROMISE HAS BEEN FOUND, THEY HAVE COME TO UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER THE TECHIE HUGGED HIS BROTHER, THE SODA DRINKER AND GOOD WEATHER HAS RETURNED TO THE HOUSE. BECAUSE THAT'S HOW IT SHOULD BE, THAT'S HOW IT NEEDS TO BE YOU CAN'T BUILD FRIENDSHIP ON INSULTS AND YOU SHOULDN'T PUSH PEOPLE AWAY WITH MISUNDERSTANDING THERE'S NO NEED FOR A BATTLE, HERD AGAINST HERD IT DOESN'T MATTER IF IT'S MARCH OR MAY IN SIBERIA OR IN THE KRASNODAR REGION IT DOESN'T MATTER IF IT'S ON WORLD OF WARCRAFT OR BATTLE.NET BECAUSE THE SAME THING BRINGS US TOGETHER:smile20:
I don't know what to call it yet; maybe the players on the forum will suggest a name. Basically, this is what it will be:) For now, it's clear what version of Heroes we'll be using: Heroes 1.03q. 1. We have a random map site, and only a few people play on fixed maps. Honestly, I thought we'd have a random map tournament. :) 2. I think 200% will just drag out the game, but if everyone agrees, I'm willing to play on 200%. 3. That's not enough. :) ewgeniy;130634
Tanya, if we don't have enough people, some players from the BI forum will definitely play for our team. But it's too early to talk about that; we need to discuss the rules first, and then it will be clear who will play and who won't.
Heh, what's the point of the tournament if it's mostly our players who will be playing? After all, we're holding this tournament primarily for you
1. We have a random map site, and only a few people play fixed maps. I honestly thought we would have a random map tournament. 2. I think that 200% will only prolong the game, but if everyone agrees, I'm ready to play with 200%. 3. It's a bit small. :)
Vladimir, but we're not looking for the easy way, are we? Let our self-proclaimed random map players show the guys on the fixed map that they can do it. This way, we can prove what kind of tactics are needed there. Many people play fixed maps – have you forgotten how Stinger dominated on fixed maps? At least half of our top players easily play fixed maps.
From RP: Stinger, Starik, Bayazet, Napalm, Sil, and the whole of St. Petersburg play fixed maps...
and 1800+300 is the standard for fixed maps.
and 200% won't prolong the game on fixed maps; the guys in the forums have pointed out that the strategy for 160% is different from the strategy for 200%.
In my opinion, if we want to showcase fixed maps, it's only fair to play the game according to their rules. So, in my opinion, we need to accept this and, gritting our teeth, show that we are versatile and not just talkers. :)-
P.S. Of course, I would like the fixed maps to be presented not in the style of the topic about tactics, where Barb says, "We've been sitting on the repse for 3 months because we can't win, and at the end, there's a pack of dragons."
In my opinion, the main idea of fixed maps is that, with the help of the author's design, it is possible to maximize the tactical and strategic capabilities of the player, which random maps do not always allow. A fixed map should be rich in strategic development options, preferably with close contact, because the best gaming qualities of players can only be revealed through mutual "mixing" on the map. Simply creating a fixed map in the style of a single-player game doesn't really make sense, as the rate of development due to the map's specifics will be approximately the same for both players, and it will all end in a big FF with a lot of units – for these purposes, there is, for example, TK3 – some players from World have already become familiar with it. By the way, guys, how about participating in our TK3 tournament? I think the organizer wouldn't mind; we've only had 1 round so far – it hasn't even finished yet.
TK3 - some players from World of Xeen have already tried it. By the way, guys, how about participating in our TK3 tournament? I think the organizer wouldn't mind. We've already had one round, and it hasn't even finished yet.
With pleasure - it's a crazy map;););) Huge thanks to Forest for teaching me how to play on it;)(ps I'm still not authorized on .by - please ask them to authorize me);)
Many people play on Fixes.
Well, I think even those who play on random maps wouldn't refuse to participate;)

Fixes - TK3
Well, let's just say it's not exactly Fixes - it's an arena... but one of the tournament stages can be held on it (according to the rules, with castles being crossed out, etc.).
Zhenya - maybe you can find out who among us is at least WILLING to participate.
And Zhenya? The activity isn't very high. How about organizing a tournament so that players from the website, which we can't mention, can play against each other? Let's decide what we'll be playing (inter-resource or internal), how many people from your side are ready to play online, and then we'll discuss the rules.
And regarding fixes, if it's important - post what they are, and we'll look for people who want to join you. :) There's one - Papik
well, I think I already wrote the list somewhere... ;) but I still don't understand: besides those already on the list, does nobody else want to represent our resource in some way? ;)
Could you please list everyone who's participating, from both sides? People can participate, but not many of us play TE. I'd like to try, but I need to practice a few times first before competing in a tournament on the new version. After all, any small detail you forget or overlook (meaning the differences between TE and SoD) could cost you the game. I've been wanting to install TE for a while, but I can't be bothered to figure out all the nuances and differences. I think that's why there are so few people interested. Let's start with a tournament on SoD, and then gradually move on to TE. ;) Sorry for the off-topic. I think there are more players from Bay who can play on SoD than there are from GW who can play on TE.
no... version 100% TE... and I think this is not up for discussion;) a small off-topic... regarding the nuances of TE... it's all nonsense. whoever plays SOD well will also play TE well... maybe they'll be slightly inferior to a player who constantly plays TE (I mean, roughly equal opponents) the only radical difference (in my opinion) is magic (some spells)... (and let's stop all this rag-throwing) inv, read the FAQ on TE and you'll understand everything;)(by the way, I wouldn't mind doing that either);) ps... install TE - let's compete;).... and the list... for now, I only know 4 people.. Me ta kotoraya ewgeniy (but since he's the organizer... I don't know if he's allowed to participate - and if he even wants to;)) kamikaze (I hope) for now, I don't know anyone else who would like to participate in this type of tournament...;)
players from Baia... as mentioned above, it all depends on the number of our players=)
I would also like to see these people on the team from our portal... (but this is just my opinion...) Vbn Alex_R Uran Judge ....;)
I would also like to see these people on the team representing our portal... (but this is just my opinion...) Vbn Alex_R Uran Judge
It's nice to know that I was also included – and I am interested. However, there are a couple of nuances that I need to consider. 1. Tournament schedule (will I be able to participate at all?) 2. More specific information about the game – what version, what templates, etc., as I am not familiar with TE at all.
