After breakfast, Erika took a mushroom out of the chest of drawers and, saying, "I'm sorry, but you understand. It's too dangerous to sit on my shoulder," she put it in her bag.
Then she locked the front door and went to the Guild of Wonders for another 10-hour trial.

Ushumgallu nodded approvingly.
-- That's right. I remember the first time I was asked to slaughter livestock. I walked around it for about five minutes, but the animal sensed that someone was coming for it, so it twisted and turned, and I couldn't get close... But I still slaughtered it, of course, and the first time it was crooked and clumsy. Nothing to worry about. Having arrived at (presumably) the right house, Himal knocked on their door several times, but no one answered.
- It seems like no one is home.

Today's windy training session, like the two previous ones, was not successful.

Today, the alien artifact brought Erika some luck (?). She met not one, but two women – both of whom she knew: these were Etto and Snafghoria from "Mania of Research."
