Having chuckled (though not as much as the Tunguska family) at Genza's jokes, Girra finished his minimalist preparations, and the trio headed towards the Temple of Z'huusixixidzire.

Temple of Z'huusixixidzire It was a solid stone structure, but not very aesthetically pleasing: a single glance at the architecture was enough to understand that those who built it were very enthusiastic about their work, but lacked sufficient experience to design and bring grandeur to life. Furthermore, it was so damp inside that the interior was covered in moss. Apparently, the followers of this cult did not have much money or, perhaps, led an ascetic lifestyle, because there was no luxury in sight, and the followers themselves wore simple clothes of not the best quality. The only noteworthy object around was a portrait of a woman made of stone (see left) and a plaque next to it (read on). Genesis of Z'huusixixidzire In the eons past, during the heyday of primitive civilization, your bare feet stepped from the heavens onto our sinful earth, overflowing with malice and suffering, struggle and despair. A false goddess led generations astray with her scythe, betraying the truth of our world to oblivion for thousands of years. There was hot fire, imperfect water, earth opposite to you, and indifferent wind... The flame disrupted the balance, and its followers, the false demigods, crushed it. Centuries later, your imperfect brethren encroached on these lands, but they lost the battle, perpetuating a second falsehood in the annals of history. Time stopped until the daughter of light was reborn and desired to take revenge on the cruel world for its unbearable torments. And since then, the world has come back to life, and you have finally awakened to take our hands and lead us into your underwater paradise. Initiation Ritual Those who yearn to know Z'huusixixidzire are bound with iron chains and thrown into the sea for an indefinite period. Those who survive are given the opportunity to let Z'huusixixidzire into their heart (and lungs). Characters with faith below 3 or another belief will fail the test. Belief Base effect: immunity to negative effects, +2 to speed. Faith effect: 3: the character survives; 4: the character can breathe underwater; 5: +50% water protection, +50% water effectiveness; 6: the character's attacks and spells duplicate water element damage; 7: opponents on adjacent squares (+1) are affected by paralysis (once per round); 8: the character can make others their minions (spends action points, a will check is performed, a tentacle must be inserted into the mouth); 9: the character cannot be killed (but can be incapacitated).
