Why is he holding his fingers like that?
He's not very handsome, by the way.

He's plotting something sinister. After all, he's a Dark Mage! And he can also see your weaknesses...

Exactly. Psychologists deliberately make all sorts of unpleasant gestures, wear strange clothes, and in schools, they even make students do silly tasks, and in other ways, they provoke their patients to find out their weaknesses. They are quite cunning.

It's not very pretty, by the way.

Because it's feminine?

I saw him holding something to his little finger, and I tried to do the same, but it turned out weird and it's uncomfortable to hold my hand like that.

Because it's feminine?

Because one eye is out of place, and dark lipstick is not in style.

I saw him holding something to his little finger, so I tried to do the same, but it turned out weird and it's uncomfortable to hold my hand like that.

Haha! And it looks like a neural network drew this "four-fingered" image!

Mentioning neural networks is the greatest modern insult to an artist, right after the story of one Austrian gentleman. And, of course, this game doesn't use neural networks at all, not even for minor details. By the way, there's a famous guy on Discord who claims to be an old man, and his way of thinking is indeed different from ordinary users in some ways. Yesterday, he went wild over Nadir's portrait and spent a couple of hours proving that it was a woman and that men don't look like that. He even got a warning from the very kind moderation team.

Yeah, I don't know, the only advantage here is that a real person has a job and is engaged in their favorite activity. Although, how much a person actually enjoys drawing generic commercial art is an open question. And no, it's probably not a neural network. I've already noted that the artist clearly has problems with drawing hands, and neural networks mess up hands in a different way. Here, it's more likely that the person is just overworked and has lost focus. I once saw a cool, highly detailed artwork, beautiful, dynamic, polished... where the character's feet were drawn facing the wrong way I was shocked. The artwork itself wasn't saved; it was in the early 2000s on some image website.

And men can look different too.

Maybe the person just isn't paid enough, that's why they don't put much effort into drawing well. You get what you pay for...

I know there are several artists. At least two, by name or nickname. So the style and quality can indeed vary from one piece of art to another.

If you want, you can take him for a woman, especially based on his face. In any case, I wouldn't be surprised if it were a female character, especially with slightly longer hair, etc. )

Maybe the person just isn't paid enough, so they don't try to draw well.

More likely, the artist doesn't know how to draw any other way, like many amateurs.

Devlog #2: Game Modes Part 1: Classic and Single-player

In previous articles, we told you about many ways to play "Heroes," as well as the specifics and game modes in the Olden Era. Today, we will try to delve deeper into some of them.

It is quite difficult to say which modes are more popular in the Heroes community. Most likely, about half of the "Heroes" players prefer randomly generated maps and custom scenarios (especially considering that not all games in the series have a random map generator). So, let's start with the most

comprehensive: how we approached the development of randomly generated maps and templates for single-player and Multiplayer modes.

I'm literally dying from laughter at the GIF. With all creatures of the same size, units of level 1 are almost useless anyway, but they give you a "kill all level 1 units" button. It's hilarious.

And what is this, some kind of area-of-effect damage?
Eliminating single units as a tactic is actually a good idea; I've always thought that it looks primitive and illogical (from a lore perspective).

The link works, I checked.

The "Irreversible" spell can kill all single-unit creatures on the battlefield, leaving the opponent's ranged units exposed.

It's like in Hearthstone, where a single unit can deal a lot of damage.

Clearly, the developers were getting beaten in PvP by players using single units, and they got upset.
