ArseidiaModern people know that Anush is a planet located in the vastness of boundless space, where all its children live, and where celestial beings and natives of other worlds sometimes visit. But what about the Moon, which can be seen in the night sky? It turns out that it is a satellite of Anush, a celestial body, albeit of more modest size, that revolves around its larger sister. It so happened that it was deprived of many elemental forces – it does not have its own Rufus, Sylphid, Terron, or Moen, and therefore life cannot exist on it.
Besides the Moon and Arseidia (the imperial name given to it to avoid associations with Lunaria), it has other names, such as Selene.
However, the existence of this goddess is tragic. Unlike Anush, which is revered by all its numerous children, Arseidia has always been lonely. Feeling abandoned, she tried in every way to attract the attention of mortals. For example, tides and other numerous effects of the Moon on Anush and its inhabitants appeared.
Over time, completely angered and desperate, she decided that if life was impossible on it, then death would be possible on it. She began to tear the souls of mortals out of the cycle of reincarnation of Anush, granting them eternal life. This is how the undead, walking skeletons, ghosts, vampires, and much more appeared.
In the centers of such states as Nephiria and the Haranian Empire, Arseidia plays a key role. In Nephiria, they strive to defeat hunger, disease, death, and other "inconvenient" aspects of human existence throughout the world, while in the Haranian Empire, the undead are used as a living force and warriors, and their masters lead a luxurious life at their expense.
She is the mother of all undead and their patron.
