Has The Witcher already been released? I haven't been following gaming news lately, but I'd like to play it.

The game is great; you can see that a lot of money was invested in it, judging by the graphics and all sorts of pleasant and unpleasant details. But the problem is that it's not interesting to fight. You press the 'n' button, and he already does a series of attacks on you; you press the 'd' button, and he does another series of attacks. There's no chance to miss a hit or do a combo series with the mouse like in the old Prince of Persia. That's what makes it uninteresting. If you don't notice that, then the game is good, IMHO.

You're right!) You can often find several hero names listed as favorites for each faction. I certainly love them and understand that we're on a Heroes forum, but I would be cautious about expressing myself so categorically. I can't name my favorites either; either there are too many, or the most deserving ones just don't come to mind.

Well, five is five.

1) WarCraft 3: The Frozen Throne (no pressure – but I’m a WarCraft player. And WarCraft is a passion!)
2) Heroes of Might and Magic V
3) Audiosurf (are you still not playing Audiosurf? Then we’re coming to visit!)
4) TES4 (unfortunately, I didn’t play Morrowind, so Oblivion)
5) Warhammer 40k (everything! From Dawn of War to the latest expansion)

But consoles are still more important to me than any PC game!

Okay... About this year, at this moment:
1) Mass Effect
2) Sacred 2
3) King's Bounty: Legend (Yeah, I haven't finished it yet...)
4) S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky - No matter how buggy it is, it's still a stalker game...
5) Armed Assault (Incredibly difficult, but interesting. A military action simulator, damn it!)

Sandro, I think you rushed things. Far Cry 2, GTA4, Disciples 3, and Fallout 3 are still to be released. Maybe I forgot something else. And "Pure Sky" is a disappointment of the year for me – a buggy and uninteresting game. P.S. I wonder, can the Enhanced Edition of The Witcher be considered a game of the year?

I haven't even played the regular Witcher game yet:(
and I feel like I won't be able to do it until after the New Year. And I'm not even talking about various Mass Effect games and other stuff.
