Posts from magic arrow
If I remember correctly, there are only 6 types of damage: physical, magic, and 4 elemental. Arrow and Divine Wrath deal magic damage.

I checked the files (if I looked there). Magic arrows have the fire element, but the damage is "DamageIsElemental>false".
Element and "DamageIsElemental>false" - magic arrow
Element and "DamageIsElemental>true" - Armageddon, chain lightning, stopping cold, earth shock, wall of fire, and meteor shower.
Element and no "DamageIsElemental" - fireball, boulder, ring of cold, and lightning and stone spikes.
No element and "DamageIsElemental>true" - divine retribution.
No element and no "DamageIsElemental" - magic fist (physical damage).

This is probably the answer to the original question!
Could you explain this in simpler terms? What does it all mean?
And the fact that a Warlock deals additional elemental damage with a magic arrow, and it's written as "+123 Fire damage", I think should be considered a bug. It shouldn't be there. Or am I misunderstanding something?

No element and no "DamageIsElemental" - magic fist (physical damage).
Apparently, there are other parameters that I don't see, or they are hardcoded in the executable.
