It's the best! I don't understand why some people don't like it. Most likely, these people don't understand anything about RPGs.

Just finished talking to a guy on the phone. Turns out he's also a fan of the Heroes series. I asked him about Heroes of Might and Magic V. He said it's terrible. I argued that I really liked it. And he told me that I just haven't played Heroes of Might and Magic III. :-( But what about the sleepless nights spent playing Heroes of Might and Magic III?

Like all great things, this game has either elicited strong sympathy or strong antipathy.

There are people who believe that after the 3rd installment, nothing better could be made, and they stubbornly keep proving it. You can't stand still; you need to move forward and play Heroes 5.

I especially realized this after buying the licensed version!!!

I bought the full version right away! On the very first day! What a fantastic game...

The main thing is that Heroes of Might and Magic V is more of a continuation of Heroes of Might and Magic III than of Heroes of Might and Magic IV.

I believe that many elements were taken from all parts of the Heroes series. Even the developers mentioned this. For example:
From the fourth game, they took:
1) The ability for the hero to attack
2) Some magical spells that weren't in the third game.
3) I don't remember anything else (I only played the fourth game twice)
From the third game, they took
Basically, everything else... And added a little of their own.

They took the idea from Heroes II, where each faction has one type of hero!
