New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?
BlueHeavenHero, the icon should have a black border and at the intersection of the object with the border.
Oh, really? Okay, I'll still be reworking their appearance and changing the icon as well.

I've updated the visual of the Death Harvesters; they look much better now, in my opinion.

A manual on creating icons is in the first post of this thread!
Unfortunately, the link doesn't work for me. And I don't have Photoshop either.

The link works for everyone! And besides the link, it's also added as an archive in the attachment!
Well, then it seems I have some kind of issue with the link. I've already found the manual in the attachment.

I still seem to be having some problems. I couldn't find the manual in the archive. Maybe I'm just not seeing it, but there were only Textures. Could you please explain where this guide is?))

It's funny, I also couldn't open the manual the first time I tried to figure it out, I thought it was some kind of useless thing - an unfamiliar format, it opens in Explorer XD
I haven't dealt with Alpha and other things, I create icons in paint.net, the process is similar:
1) I combine the icon, cut out a square, remove the background, by the way, a pink background is good, but I take screenshots at the edge of the map and crop the sky.
2) I reduce it to 256 pixels.
3) I create a copy of the layer - now we have 2 identical icons on top of each other, the bottom one needs to be processed through "hue" and "saturation" - it should become super black.
4) I blur the black layer with a Gaussian blur of 3 pixels, copy it and merge it until the transparency disappears - a black outline of 3 or 4 pixels without alpha appears around the icon.
5) I merge the layers and reduce the image to 128 pixels, draw an outline around the edge - it's ready.
Question... what is a "Gaussian filter"?

Here, I made it in PDF format – it opens everywhere!
The manual in PDF format + the texture file for the editor, all in one archive file in the standard .zip format!
This is a filter based on the algorithm of a scientist named Gauss!
I understand that I'll never be able to figure this out.
lol, it looks scary, but it's actually not some advanced technique, it's just the name of the button - "Gaussian blur." Before, there was only one slider that adjusted how much the texture would be blurred. Now there are four, but I still only use the first one.
I found another way) through the median.

by the way, I was a little mistaken, this Reaper is ID901, not ID900, ID900 is my new Necrolich)
Re-uploaded the archive.
