Isekai Ojisan

Despite the jungle of nerdy references and awkward character designs, it turned out to be a rather amusing and engaging story. It was nice to see how the nephew's life became more colorful as he lived with his relative... And of course, the girls here are very cool, how could it be without them? The elf is just amazing (or rather, her ears, hehe), but the heroine is also quickly catching up; the icy and homely one are also quite good.

An interesting concept for a pair of films, of course, but I can't say I was particularly impressed.

Firstly, regarding science fiction in general. There are three main types of good sci-fi:
1) This is fantasy sci-fi, where we have zero depth and explanation through some kind of "magic," or quasi-magic, but within our fictional world, it works, even if it's not clear how... But why not. Example: Star Wars
2) This is parody sci-fi, where everyone, including the authors, clearly understands that it's a joke, but who cares, it's all comedic. Examples: Back to the Future, Steins;Gate
3) This is hard sci-fi, where the authors have really put in the effort. It may also have elements of the first and second types, but overall, you'll think that yes, the author has thought a lot about their world and has at least closed the main gaps. Example: works by Asimov

So, my personal complaint with the authors is that they are trying to follow the third path (and they have scientists writing formulas and saying smart things, and there is no comedy in the title), but in fact, it turned out to be the first. Aka, it's just nonsense.

Well, that's okay. Regarding the plot itself, the story itself is not bad, and the authors wanted to convey some idea... Probably. I assume. Something like the inevitability of certain things? Or about the power of love? From these points of view, the film is beautiful, I agree. My complaint is that they overdid it – there is no such depth that you need to watch all this for three hours.

Moreover, consider the format itself: for an hour and a half, you watch one film (in my case, it was Kimi wo...), and in general, everything is clear, but here and there there are some minor gaps or inconsistencies. Overall, you feel a little sad, but it's interesting... And then they show you disjointed scenes from another film, in which you don't understand what is happening at all, except for some general outline – and that's it.

Okay. After that, you go to watch Boku ga, and suddenly it turns out that for almost the entire film, it's just an ordinary everyday life. There were only a couple of moments for me where there was something new in relation to the first film (and something that wasn't shown in the trailers)... And at the end, something important happens.

In short, I have a clear impression that these two stories should have been somehow normally combined so that it would be one film, two to two and a half hours long. Yes, let it be a little long, but instead of creating an "intrigue" out of nowhere and then breaking it with emptiness, it would be better to do without intrigue or almost without it, developing the stories in parallel. Let people calmly watch the romance, shed a tear, and that's it... Although, I must say that within the framework of a "scientific" experiment, a negative result is also a result, even if the authors ended up with something meaningless in this regard, but thank them, now the rest will know what not to do.

I think I chose the right order. Throughout the second film, I was afraid that I had made a mistake, because maybe it would have been better to start with the more "lighthearted" one, so that it would be useful for the intrigue? But you know what, no, the ending put everything in its place.

Because

If I had watched it differently, I would have spoiled the first film for myself; it's a really great trick with recaps, very useful.

For lovers of unhurried romance films, and those who are not too picky, I recommend watching it.

7/10 and 6/10 respectively.

Isekai One Turn Kill Neesan

Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc

- Too many flashy spins.
- Not enough slicing scenes to make the relationship between the characters feel more natural.
- Mitsuri is cute.
- Finally, the bamboo box problem has been resolved.
- The villains are weaker than their predecessors.
Overall, I liked it, but it could have been better.

^ "Coward" seemed like a decent opponent and was original in its own way, but the antagonist from the previous season was definitely better. And "sculptor" is just an embarrassment. Well, Mitsuri is cute, but there isn't enough of her. It would have been better if they talked about her more than about that vague-haired guy who is unremarkable.

. Overall, the blacksmiths are amusing and interesting in their own way, the fights are intense, and overall it's below average for the series, but the ending was cool. I'd say it maintains the standard, yes.

Yes, it was powerful. Funny humor, touching drama, intriguing detective story, great characters from the main ones to the minor ones, interesting themes.

Jigokuraku

It reminded me of a mix of Sekiro and an expansion pack, and in the case of the latter, it's very similar to one of the settings that I never finished.
- I think if I had watched this five years ago, I would have fallen head over heels for Sagiri.
- The shinobi, samurai, and others are portrayed exactly as I like to imagine them.
- A cool protagonist with an interesting motivation.
- I didn't skip the opening and ending; they were good.
- There are many interesting and charismatic characters.
- Despite the short duration of the scenes, they managed to convey many ideas excellently.
It turned out to be a good season, one great thing after another.

Megami no Café Terrace

An anime about a cozy café by the sea, where the protagonist lives with five cute waitresses and tries to save his family business from bankruptcy. Despite the abundance of cultural references and scenes, the most impressive character turned out to be the grandmother; she even brought tears to my eyes a couple of times...

As for the waitresses, I'd probably rank them orange > yellow > green > pink > blue. Honestly, it's hard to say.

I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in This World Too: Level Up Made My Life Change

It's a bit boring, but watchable. I really liked the opening. It reminded me of classic shonen and harem anime. In general, the longer I live, the more I appreciate the isekai theme. Here's a guy who suffered a lot in his life, and then he enjoys the benefits in return. I think it's balanced.
