Group A: 1) Proger, 2) DimaSurmay, 3) gizmo-war, 4) Sir Davos.
Group B: 1) igrayukakmogu, 2) Bubuch, 3) Avangard, 4) ckotuHa.
Group C: 1) Troublikk, 2) Beriadon, 3) Gos, 4) Morgot, 5) theShevanesian
Group D: 1) Gorbunak, 2) Mregor, 3) Meo, 4) Jobstar, 5) Neo
Note: Neo and theShevanesian signed up after the tournament started; there is no way to fit them into the round brackets. Therefore, they will have to arrange the date and time of the game individually with each participant in their groups.

Hello, Heroes fans! It's been a while since there were any tournaments on HW, we need to fix that. I propose holding a dynamic and exciting summer tournament)

Template pool: 2sm, 6lm, Jebus Cross. Players alternately ban templates; the order is determined by a coin toss.

The default game version is SoD; by mutual agreement, both FreshMod and HotA can be played. Accordingly, games will be conducted according to the current SoD rules posted on HW, or according to the rules of the latest version of FreshMod (in this case, additional settings are chosen by player agreement), or according to the HotA lobby rules — that one's pretty clear. A small adjustment: I propose that in any version, when choosing towns, the HotA rule be used, where a player can ban one of the rolled towns and demand a free new pair be generated, then for 500 gold. I suggest limiting the number of rerolls and bans to two (first time free, second for 500).

It is assumed that all games will be played with OХ. ОХ for Jebus Cross and 6lm is 117, for 2sm is 115. Players can agree on any other ОХ time that suits them before the start of the match.

To keep the tournament engaging and intense, I propose playing each round within one week. I hope we can avoid scheduling mandatory game days, but if it does come to that, the course of action is simple: the participant who believes their opponent is avoiding the game must contact the organizer/judge before the end of the round and provide evidence of the opponent's avoidance. The organizer/judge tries to contact the second player; if an agreeable date for both players cannot be arranged, the organizer/judge will set a game time for the nearest evening; failure to show or being more than half an hour late will be counted as a technical defeat. If none of the participants request a mandatory game day before the end of the round, such a day will not be set after the round ends.

By decision of the tournament participants, one of them can be chosen as a judge in case such situations arise.

Since this tournament was initially conceived as a mini-tournament to be held in a short timeframe, the registration period is also short: registration closes on Wednesday at 23:59, and the draw will be held.

Draw results: (if I misspelled someone's nickname, no offense)
Group A: 1) Proger, 2) DimaSurmay, 3) gizmo-war, 4) Sir Davos.
Group B: 1) igrayukakmogu, 2) Bubuch, 3) Avangard, 4) ckotuHa.
Group C: 1) Troublikk, 2) Beriadon, 3) Gos, 4) Morgot
Group D: 1) Gorbunak, 2) Mregor, 3) Meo, 4) Jobstar, 5) Neo

Rounds:
In the first round, within each group, participants with the following order numbers play: 1 - 2, 3 - 4.
Second round: 1 - 3, 2 - 4,
Third round: 1 - 4, 2 - 3.
Official start of the tournament is August 5th. The duration of each group stage round and then each playoff round is one week.
All games are BO1 (best of one), but if both players agree to play under other BO conditions, it is not prohibited, as long as they manage to do so within the round's timeframe. Naturally, playing a game ahead of the round's start is not forbidden if both participants can find the time for it.
In case of a tie in points within a group, the Berger coefficient is checked first, then the head-to-head result. If this does not resolve it (a "rock-paper-scissors" situation or a draw in the head-to-head match), these players play each other again.

Further tournament bracket:
Quarter-finals: A1-B2, A2-B1, C1-D2, C2-D1.
Semi-finals: winner of pair A1-B2 vs. winner of pair C1-D2, winner of pair A2-B1 vs. winner of pair C2-D1.

Here are the results of the draw: (if I misspelled someone's nickname, please forgive me )
Group A: 1) Proger, 2) DimaSurmay, 3) gizmo-war, 4) Sir Davos.
Group B: 1) igrayukakmogu, 2) Bubuch, 3) Avangard, 4) ckotuHa.
Group C: 1) Troublikk, 2) Beriadon, 3) Gos, 4) Morgot
Group D: 1) Gorbunak, 2) Mregor, 3) Meo.

Rounds:
In the first round, within each group, players with the following numbers will play: 1 - 2, 3 - 4.
Second round: 1 - 3, 2 - 4,
Third round: 1 - 4, 2 - 3.
Since the draw was published late today, the official start of the tournament is tomorrow. The duration of each round of the group stage, and then each round of the playoffs, is one week.
All games are BO1 (best of one), but if both players agree to play under different BO conditions, this is not prohibited, the main thing is that they have time to complete the round within the deadline.

Further tournament bracket:
1/4 finals: A1-B2, A2-B1, C1-D2, C2-D1.
1/2 finals: winner of the A1-B2 pair against the winner of the C1-D2 pair, winner of the A2-B1 pair against the winner of the C2-D1 pair.

P.S. Tomorrow, the countdown of the rounds begins (one week each), but of course, you can start playing today as well). Naturally, there is no prohibition on holding a game before the deadline for the round, if both participants can find time for it.

P. P. S. I will try to format this graphically tomorrow.

Couldn't find the right starting town. On the green map, there were green dragons, but the army wasn't strong enough. I decided to build a gray town with a castle, but without the gray horns, and instead with a rock face. Around turn 121, I managed to get chains and decided to reliably advance to turn 122. With 2 angels, 18 cyclops, 16 rock, 80 dogs, and 3 gray units, I easily defeated the green town. On the way to the center, I picked up a quest and settled in a castle. I was out of gold, so I sped up and sent a scout. The opponent surrendered and wrote that he had attacked the green town without any artifacts.

I couldn't find the right zeff for the start. On the GO there were green dragons, which I didn't quite have enough army for. I decided to build gray dwarves with oil flasks without gray dwarf faces, but with a rock face. By day 121 I was messing around with chains and decided to go out safely on day 122. 2 angels, 18 cyclops, 16 rock, 80 dogs, and 3 gray dwarves already easily cleared the GO. On the way to the center, I picked up the KV and sat in the castle. I had no gold left, so I boosted and sent a scout to explore. The opponent surrendered and wrote that they attacked the GO without artifacts.
The surrender wasn't particularly rich in terms of objects (an angel external dwelling, from which I started rotating, a level-1 cons, and two zeffs totaling 12 cyclops; there were also 3 zeffs, but deep in the respawn area). However, they gave great artifacts for all slots (+7 offense, +6 defense, +4 spell power and knowledge), as well as very rich resources and gold (lots of dwarf dwellings and free stuff on the ground). The GO was scouted on the first day, upgraded passive creatures, but more on that later :)
The main was determined quite late, on day 114 Caitlin showed up in the tavern and leveled earth magic when taking crypts. Before the angel external dwelling, there was a trident +7 to attack for inferno dogs, which nearly devoured the archer stack thanks to moralities (luckily there was a ballista); as a result, I feared I wouldn't take the external dwelling, but the stat bonus compensated for the archer losses. I ran around the respawn for a very long time, leveled heroes, managed to place angels in the citadel; by the start of the second week, I realized I had to go to the arches.
In the end, all the chains worked out; I gathered enough gold from dwarf dwellings and two markets to upgrade 5 angels, and Katyusha ran to the center. Well, then there was awkward silence and a "loud silence" when it became clear that the passive creatures without the artifacts left behind in the main absolutely couldn't be cleared :)
A post-factum analysis showed that with the artifacts, the GO was cleared while preserving all the arches, 7 cyclops, and ~30 archers. The opponent was already sitting in the center, they had the KV and a good army, but I had two boxes on my way out: 15 scorpicores and all the earth elementals. This loot was guarded by 77 upgraded unicorns, but even this "second GO" was cleared, and with only archer losses.
Thanks for the game!

The draft wasn't particularly fat in terms of objects (angel external dwelling, which I started with, a Griffin Conservatory unit and two zeffas totaling 12 cyclops; there were also 3 zeffas, but far in the depths of the spawn). However, it gave great artifacts in all slots (+7 offense, +6 defense, +4 spell power and knowledge), and also extremely rich in resources and gold (lots of dwarven treasuries and freebies on the ground). Scouted GO on the first day, upgraded pasisses, but more on that later
The main was determined rather late, on day 114 Caitlin showed up in the tavern and upon taking crypts leveled Earth magic. Before the angel external dwelling there was a trident +7 to attack for inferno dogs, which with morale boosts almost ate through a stack of archers (luckily I had a ballista), so I was afraid I wouldn't take the external dwelling, but the stat advantage offset the archer losses. Spent a very long time running around the spawn leveling heroes, managed to get angels in the citadel by the start of the second week, realized I had to go for archers.
In the end, all the chains came together, from dwarven treasuries and two markets I got enough gold to upgrade 5 angels and Katyusha ran to the center. And then there was awkward silence and "loud silence" when it became clear that the pasisses couldn't be broken through at all without the artifacts left behind in the main
Post-game analysis showed that with the artifacts, GO could be cleared while preserving all archers, 7 cyclops and ~30 archers. The opponent was already sitting in the center, had KV and a good army, but I had two boxes on my exit: 15 scorpicores and all the Earth magic. Played well, focusing on hidden spots and objectives to gain an advantage over the enemy army. By week 2, I had assembled 6 Angels and 13 Ducks, then cleared out a few more areas before heading to the opponent's castle. On day 132, I defeated Mephisto in a rush attack within the castle.

Thanks for the game!

Did a decent job with ambushes and capturing objects, and on week 2, I gathered 6 Angels and 13 Ducks, then cleared out a bit of the map and headed towards the opponent. On turn 132, I killed the main hero while he was rushing into my castle.

Thanks for the game!
I assumed there was no log, but it showed that on turn 132, he killed him while rushing. It's a shame, otherwise, the 2000-point hero wouldn't have made it without the log.)

And 400 Skeletons at 2400... they just can't be defeated. The stats were evenly matched.)

THANKS FOR THE GAME.

I completely forgot: in case of a tie in points within a group, the Berger coefficient is considered first, then the head-to-head result. If that doesn't help either (a "rock-paper-scissors" situation or when the head-to-head result is a draw), then those players play each other again.

Dynamic first match)) I got baited by a KZ near the town and a gold-rich respawn (despite the 5000 deficit, by week 1, day 2 I had 8 heroes deployed and still had money left over). Also, the prospect of taking a potentially juicy Pandora's Box on week 1, day 3 for 20-49 Energy Elementals was very tempting, for which I had a decent army (19 Grand Elves, 50 Centaurs thanks to an external dwelling, 20 Dwarves thanks to an external dwelling, and reinforcements of Dendroid Soldiers from the town were expected on week 1, day 3). Therefore, I didn't take restarts, although even on week 1, day 2 I could only see one tough Zealot. On week 1, day 3, I got a GG from the opponent - an unlucky Dragon Fly Hive. A subsequent review of the respawn showed that I was very lucky with this outcome, since on the respawn itself there was not a single army-boosting object within visible range (except for the external dwellings of Rogues and Dendroid Soldiers). The Pandora's Box was guarded by as many as 48 Energy Elementals, who were manageable with acceptable losses, but the box itself turned out to be "empty" - something magical, and my starting hero is Ivor, who of course lacks Wisdom.
Thanks to my opponent for the game and good luck in future matches!

A dynamic first match)) I baited myself on a KZ near town and a respawn rich in gold (despite a 5000 setback, I spread out into 8 heroes on 112 and still had money left). Also, capturing a potentially tasty Pandora's Box on 113 with 20-49 energy elementals looked very tempting, for which I had a decent army (19 Grand Elves, 50 Centaurs thanks to an external dwelling, 20 Dwarves thanks to an external dwelling, and a reinforcement of Dendroids from town was expected on 113). So I didn't take restarts, although even on 112 only one hard Zephyr was visible. On 113, a GG came from my opponent - an unfortunate Dragon Fly Hive. A subsequent review of the respawn showed that I was very lucky with this outcome, since within visible proximity on the respawn there wasn't a single army object (except for the external dwelling of Rogues and Dendroids). The Pandora's Box was guarded by a whole 48 energy elementals, which were beaten with acceptable losses, but the Pandora's Box itself turned out to be "empty" - something magical, and of course my starting Ivor has no Wisdom.
Thank you to my opponent for the game and good luck in further matches!

Thank you for the game! I fought a very unsuccessful battle in the 60 Dragon Fly Hives on 113, after which I decided not to continue, despite a decent but not the most convenient respawn.
Thank you to my opponent for the game and good luck further!

Turned in 2 wolf dens, made a good profit, and got a second-tier artifact. In the first week, I built birds in 2 cities, got 6 angels, and used them, along with all the birds and wolves, except for 5 angels, to conquer a 3-week-old Utopia. This earned me a Crown of the Wizard and a hat with +5 to a stat. Thanks to the money from Utopia, I built bears in 2 cities. In the Treasure, I found a good Aine from the Dungeon with earth and intelligence, who found and took the teapot.
On day 132, I approached the opponent through the Guild of Outcasts with high stats, and the opponent surrendered.

Thank you for the game!

There was 1 rest for the meet, so the meet rest became 115. I decided to use Brisa to jump out to the opponent's purple on 115. And so it happened, on 116 I took the main, right with unpurchased Dendroids. I already thought it would be an easy game.
On 117, the opponent shows 18 Arch Druids, 40 Centaurs, and 3 Minotaurs. It's not so simple anymore. By 121, I'm already running to the opponent's last castle and on the way I check the Griffin Conservatory, which is empty. The next day, with Scout, I see the castle already defended with Angels. I turn around, heading for the Caches and Treasure Zone. Kirye runs into the treasure zone, and by 125 I capture the opponent's last castle with a Peasant and upgrade Brisa with Stables there. And then the opponent makes just a fatal mistake, upgrading Kirye in the treasure zone. Brisa from the castle, with a last 100-move, chases Kirye, who has nowhere to be bought back)) And it seems it was already GG for me, because the opponent has 4 Angels, 50++ Arch Druids, not many Dwarves, Fae Dragons against my 15 Dwarves. Plus, Kirye was in the treasure zone with a bunch of Beehives, a Corpse Wagon with 5 Bone Dragons, and a Gremlin with КВ, 0 chance in the late game.

Cleared 2 wolf external dwellings, very rich in gold and the home secondary skill; on the first one I built birds in 2 cities, took cons for 6 angels and poured all birds, wolves and generally everything except 5 angels on week 2 into Dragon Utopia 3, getting КЗ and a hat +5. Thanks to the money from the utopia, I put bears in 2 cities. In the treasure zone I dug up a good Ain from the prison with earth and intellect, who found and took the teapot.
On 132 I reached the opponent via ГО with high stats and the opponent surrendered.
