Hello everyone from SADYTRO! I have created the largest mod in the history of Heroes, based on "Armageddon's Blade" (Armageddon's Blade)
This mod features 25 playable factions, over 430 new creatures, dozens of new heroes, new combat and economy mechanics, as well as blood that remains on the battlefield until the final blow.
25 factions — and none replaces another
All original towns are in place. New factions are added alongside them, each with its own creatures, heroes, town, buildings, and construction screen. The faction and hero selection has been redesigned: a large, convenient menu with icons that fits all races.
Sauron's Army
The dark host of Middle-earth, assembled from original War of the Ring models. Slave-builders and goblin spearmen are cheap fodder, orc berserkers and Uruk-hai hold the line, Haradrim assassins strike from the shadows. Warg riders and giant spiders tear at the flanks, Black Riders and spectres sow terror, and rock-throwing trolls and bone-crusher trolls are the faction's most fearsome force.
Church
A militant order: spearmen and elite guards, renegade archers, priestesses, radiant "Glories", crusaders and undead-and-demon slayers, church wardens. Battle trebuchets crown the army.
Citadel
A swamp kingdom: gnolls, lizard rangers and hunters, dragonflies, basilisks and salamanders, gorgons, winged coatls and dragon-dors, and at the top — ancient, swamp, and lake hydras.
Oblivion
Beasts and their masters: war dogs, handlers and tamers, blood griffuses, Uni warriors with magic protection, horrifying "test subjects" and "abominations", steel-skinned lizards. At the top — Soul Bird, Anima, and Atma.
And also....
Rune Fortress
A dwarven war machine: mechanics and siege engineers, arquebusiers and grenadiers, landsknechts, war golems ("Cyclops 12", "Scourge of Mages 1B", "Fire 3"), mountain griffins, rune and bear riders, lapis, onyx, and obsidian dragons.
Rift
Creations of another world: lizards, lunatics, cursed and dark knights, manticores and scorpicores, moon witches, mysterious guides and symbionts. At the top — stardust dragons and dracoliches.
Grove
A living forest: tadpoles, ancient ones, carnivorous sundews and dionaeas, troll wisemen, sylphs, tendriculus devourers and mighty taurugs.
Ziggurat
Ancient jungles: gnoll executioners, reptiloids, demonologists and witch doctors, imperial basilisks, demogorgons, quetzalcoatls and gorgorichs.
Temple
An underwater kingdom: fish-men, okanes, guardian medusas, kelpies and nixes, singing sirens, lords of the deep and noble kamis, blue, topaz, and deep dragons.
Grotto
An underground hive: drogh diggers, fireflies, insectonogs, mantle queens and hive guardians, scorpioids, shadow arachnids — and nameless puppet masters.
Pyramid
A desert empire: nutu, lord mummies, dervishes and sun handmaidens, sphinxes, undu riders, natru embalmers, simurghs, roc birds and garudas.
Pirates v2
Completely different pirates: rodent privateers, croc corsairs and cutthroats, island harpies, buccaneers and cannoneers, bolette boatswains, tortoses — ship-smashers and storm dragons.
Conflux v2
A race of dragons of all elements: storm, air, ice, fire, crystal and shadow dragons, and at the top — lunar and primordial phoenixes.
10 slots in a hero's army
A hero can now lead up to ten squads into battle instead of seven. You can keep separate squads for different tasks: a screen for shooters, a reserve, bait, a squad for flank capture. Combat offers far more tactical options, and an army of different factions finally fits entirely.
Large battlefield 18×14
A spacious field instead of a cramped arena. More room for maneuver, flanking, and ambushes. Shooters have to choose their position, and fast creatures truly decide the outcome of battle. The size can be chosen in settings: 14×12 or 18×14.
New creature upgrades RIGHT IN TOWN
Fourth and fifth upgrade tiers for Haven, Necropolis, and Conflux: new models, enhanced stats, new icons made from 3D renders, and radiant effects for elite holy troops.
Sacrifice for experience
In town, you can sacrifice creatures to gain experience for your hero. Unneeded squads and excess trophies no longer go to waste: they turn into levels, skills, and power for your hero. The mechanic can be toggled on or off in settings.
Bloody battles
Every strike on a living creature leaves a mark:
blood splatters fly on impact;
stains and puddles remain on the ground and do not disappear until the end of battle;
the longer and harder the fight, the more the field is drenched in blood;
a creature standing in blood becomes stained red itself.
After battle, you can see from the field where the fiercest clash took place. Undead, golems, and machines do not bleed: each has its own "character" in battle.
Economy and convenience
Market with artifact trading.
The ability to build two buildings per day.
Mini-artifacts for heroes of all factions.
Updated creature recruitment screens and fixed construction screens.
Convenient mod configurator: field size, number of slots, sacrifice, market, buildings — everything is enabled with one button.
What's next ? ? ?
New upgrades for the remaining factions.
Balance pass.
Hit effects for non-living creatures: sparks, dust, and bone shards.
An army that follows the hero on the adventure map.
Refinement of arenas and towns for the large field.
The mod will be constantly improved, so your feedback is important!
