The warrior women standing around (whom he had apparently tasked moments earlier with clearing the rubble) winced, groaned, and gasped at such a spectacle, but nothing prepared them for the next act. The lord's nephew brought his neat, long fingers to his own eye socket and, overcoming a fleeting hesitation, removed his own eye. During this action, only a barely audible groan escaped his lips.
- Aaah-a-a-a-aaaah! My lord, what are you doing! Your eye! Your eye! - Shani fell to her knees and clutched her head. - Stop!

Лордский племянник поднес свои аккуратные длинные пальцы к собственной глазнице и, преодолев мимолетное сомнение, вынул из неё собственный глаз. В ходе этого действия с его губ слетел лишь едва слышимый стон.
- Ааа-а-а-аааа! Милорд, что же вы делаете! Глаз! Ваш глаз! - Шани упала на колени и схватилась за голову. - Остановитесь!
- Ты тупая что ли? - Спрашивает Мурдера, единственная из пяти, кто не лишился самообладания. - Уже поздно что-то останавливать.

Следующим действием рыцарь поместил вынутый ранее у иказканихи глаз на место своего. Придерживаясь одной ладонью за раненную сторону лица, он обратился к Манке. - Исцели меня, иначе он не срастется.
- К-как прикажете.
Силийское заклинание делает свое дело и спустя некоторое время Эжен возвращается в норму. Первым делом он убеждается в том, что может безболезненно шевелить новым органом и проверяет зрение.
- Великолепно. Потребуется некоторое время, чтобы привыкнуть, но непредвиденных трудностей не должно возникнуть. - Закончив со своим занятием он, наконец, придал значение существованию рыцаря Ветра. - Стэфания, остался ещё левый, желаешь ли его себе?
