Kanamiya and the Loyalists

- Deus Mariarnelia

- Lord Kanonchan Gurentses

- Lord Druugdrdrag

- Lord Dirk Ryderson

- Not many. With a certain degree of cynicism, one might assume that most lords' loyalty is only convenient for them when it suits their purposes. Though I would also bide my time in the place of some of them.

- It's pointless to guess. - Said Deus, who, contrary to what one might think of her, was not just a pretty face. - Let Axel, accustomed to the art of air travel, visit the vassals and find out whose side they are on. I entrust Lester and Ambrose with checking the situation in the city. Georgie, so well-versed in diplomacy, will visit the rebellious knight. Banshee, Ashrad, and Corrie will see to strengthening the defenses. If there are any doubts about this plan of action, let them be voiced now or be forever forgotten.

- Sounds solid. If it comes to a siege, all these actions are necessary. However, for now, I find it hard to visualize what such negotiations with a traitor might look like. It seems that having gone off the deep end, he might have lost even the most basic notions of honor. You understand what I mean, my lord, - to the banquet colleague.

My sword, my trusted ally, unphased by my aspect.

The most astonishing, albeit known in advance thanks to preliminary reconnaissance, feature of the underworld's laws turned out to be inverted gravity — having overcome the initial stage of descending downward, the participants of Adalard Grimm's military expedition discovered that to proceed further they needed not to go down, but to climb up. The news of the collapse disappointed many, but the expedition leader did not lose his composure and managed to organize coordinated and efficient work among his subordinates under the new conditions. It was decided to allocate a small portion of human resources to clear the exit to the surface, while the main force would move to search for Ikazkan. But before that, a roll call was necessary, and the Lord of Gildaria tasked Stefania with checking on each knight's tent, among whom were:

- Knight of the Lush Meadows

- Knight of the Glow

- Knight of the Wild Flowers

- Knight of Unwavering Courage.

- Knight of the Night Silence.

- Knight of the Rusting Soul.

(More details about each when you visit them).

Without much thought, Stefania decided to go in order down the list and started with the Lush Flanks Meadows.

Milord Jacob Yabonsky is sometimes jokingly called the owner of the widest jaw in Gildaria, and more seriously — of an equally wide soul. He is known as a man who never loses his composure and is accustomed to making do with little. He received his title from Adalard as a sign of admiration for the knight's inner world.

The Knight of the Lush Meadows was among those who fundamentally refused to hire servants, and now there was no one in his tent but himself.

- Ah, Stefania. Well, hello. I imagined the underworld a bit differently; I never thought the concept of gravity could be so abstract — it seems anything is possible here.

"So we're gods, then? Forging our own destiny?" — Vargas returns his aggressive gaze to the young one. "Don't think about it! On the contrary — if someone can defeat a god, then so can you. Strike left — I'll leave myself open, I promise! My word is tungsten."

The servant strikes from the right.

"That's not true. Training is the main factor in your life. Do you think milords Whiteclaw and Lorican neglected it? Or milady Stefania? They wore their fingers down to the bone! Come on, strike, and make sure I don't dodge," — the sparring continues...

"Maybe they didn't neglect it... But they don't look like they'll live long either."

"Not much. With a bit of cynicism, one might assume that most lords' loyalty is only convenient for them when it suits their moment. Though I'd have waited in their place too."

"Alas, milord Lester, that is the price for the order established in the era of blue blood." — Banquet replies. "We can only hope that once the lords understand the situation, they will make the right decision."

"Sounds solid. If it comes to a siege, all these actions are necessary. However, for now I'm struggling to visualize what such negotiations with a traitor might look like. I suspect that having gone off the deep end, he may have lost even the most basic notions of honor. You know what I mean, milord," — to his banquet colleague.

"The chance to avoid mass bloodshed is worth such a risk."

— The established bonds of trust between us cannot but please me, Luciferia. You boldly entrust me with secrets of state importance, keep the business records, and even deliver wall paintings without any knowledge of the mistress. — With a slight smile, Alsira looked at the portrait. — Astarothia, is it? She is quite charming. Let them hang it on the second floor. At this rate, my dwelling is starting to resemble a Sithi cell more and more.

- He-heh! I trust you, my lady, more than anyone! - Clasping her hands in a prayerful gesture and making puppy-dog eyes, Luciferia continued. - But still, I wish to express the hope that Astarothia is not as dear to your eye as I am?

— A drowned artist? A peculiar plot twist. I wish to preserve the integrity of these lands, but turning the population into human farms is a dubious outcome. My lady will have to decide between two fires. Haste will do no good; the capital's authority is strong, and your party's arguments demand a careful look out of duty. Hmm, does your great progenitor know anything about the fall of the City of the Sun or the Estellian massacre?

- Well, you think it over carefully, or else something might happen! You people are such creatures — everything is calm one moment, and the next you're cutting each other's throats over trifles. Wouldn't it be better to secure the support of someone more level-headed and consistent?

As if to confirm what was just said, Alsira's eyes notice smoke rising from the direction of the lord's estate.
