Defensive Stance In exchange for 1 AP, the character reduces incoming damage by 75% as long as they skip turns or until three turns have passed.
Before other modifiers.
Caution In exchange for 1 AP, the character increases their evasion by 30% as long as they perform no actions other than movement or until three turns have passed.
+30 is added to the existing stat (i.e., at 20 it becomes 50)
Perhaps the unexpected main villain is the tournament organizers, because after 120 battles the Knights won't have the strength left to protect their liege, let alone lift a weapon.
That's only 120. In reality, each one will fight just 15 battles.
Ничто не возникает из ничего и ничто не пропадает бесследно. Если где-то чего-то убудет, то в другом месте добавится. (Закон сохранения).
Yashchur, this tournament is already skewed in favor of passive builds. Characters with active abilities will be lucky to last six duels, and that's only if they use each skill once. Since there's no AP regeneration, some characters end up in an even worse position. So a small tournament, at least for me personally, would be far preferable.
I basically only have 4 AP, because I messed up and didn't pick up Swiftness, even though I was going to, but then I forgot and gave up on it. And in duels I'll only be using it for counter-attacks, and even then I'll have to see the situation when. For example, against Nebka))
I think 10-12 people is fine, half players, half NPCs. Otherwise these pseudo-knights will spot our builds for free and then rat us out in the episode with the Tezoth world. And besides, that many won't fit in the arena later.
— Are you planning to take part in any of the upcoming events? You must have plenty of battle experience under your belt, and clearly no shortage of strength either.
- It's hard to compete with the young and healthy, but there's still some strength left in my tentacles! - He apparently really had no speech filters. - So yes, I'll shake off the rust and show what we folks from Pharegia can do, since rarely any of us are allowed onto the mainland.
The very first phrase from Galahaladron put a decisive end to the warrior woman's doubts — the rumors about Pharegia really did have some basis. However, looking at him more closely, she still couldn't spot any tentacles, even despite the old man's revealing attire, which raised more and more questions. But now she was all the more curious to see her interlocutor in action, on the arena. It could well be that the future tournament winner was standing right before her.
— All the more reason to make the most of today's events. I'm sure you can teach the youngsters a lesson or two!
Plague, this tournament is already skewed in favor of passive builds. Characters with active skills will be lucky to have enough action points for six duels, and that's only if they use their skill once per duel. Since there's no action point regeneration, some characters end up in an even worse position. So a smaller tournament, at least for me personally, would be much preferable.
Well, the schedule will be posted before the tournament starts, so you can plan ahead where it's better to spend action points and where to save them. In any case, action points won't be enough if there are more than 6 participants...
I'd suggest allowing any participant to restore action points once per tournament (whenever they wish), rather than reducing the number of participants...

- Maybe I'll even leave a couple of scars on someone, - he winks, - so they'll have a reason to remember the old knight later.

— In that case, — she smiled, — I will simply have to write a book about them.

Who said his tentacles are for fighting?
Небо – мольбы не ждёт Небо – угроз не слышит Небо – ведёт особый счёт Небо – тебя найдёт
