What are we measuring the speed of? Days? A specific number of skeletons (experience, resources)? :smile30:

Here's a question: if the idea is successfully implemented, what will be the timeframe between the stages? And in general, how many stages will there be, and when is the event planned?
1. Standard approach.
The tournament organizer prepares the tasks.
2. A non-standard and more interesting approach.
We have many good players. Moreover, they play in tournaments, so they definitely have some saves, for example, before key battles.
Therefore, we can, let's say, pool our resources and have three tasks for conducting battles, and they will be from different people.
I think this is more interesting.
And then, for each item in the competition - for example, the fastest completion of the game, taking into account the amount of mercury collected, or taking into account the number of skills acquired, etc. (capturing a hero, preventing them from escaping, etc.).

but the second option can be combined with the first. That is, those who have interesting battles (with a twist) can send them to the organizer. He, in turn, can, based on what is sent, create a small map containing that battle...
Of course, all this is very good, but unfortunately, I cannot help with this event, as I have little time and little combat experience in Heroes 2. :(

Therefore, we can, let's say, chip in and have three tasks for conducting battles, and they will be from different people.

I'll take on the Dragons Slayer task;
Best regards, VDV_forever
To improve my gameplay, I signed up for a large number of tournaments for the second game in the series:)))
In this regard:
1. There is no time to prepare for the tournaments;
2. But there might be a lot of tasks (during the game);
3. If there is a desire and opportunity, I can help any qualified user conduct a tournament.
4. Regarding the arena: preparing for the tournament is not so difficult, but checking the results is SIGNIFICANTLY more time-consuming (game time - 29 days). And there is also another aspect: judging the arena. The latest trends in this area are as follows: with a wide range of magical abilities and with players of approximately equal strength, unpleasant disputes often arise in the style of "I was unfairly judged," "they all conspired," "they are friends with the judge," etc.
I am ready to discuss constructive suggestions.

Because we don't seem to have any Heroes 2 tournaments here.
2. I think I read this thread completely, but the term "arena" is unfamiliar to me... what is meant by this concept?
1. There is no time to prepare for the Tournaments;
If the idea is to be implemented, when is it planned to be done, how many stages will there be, or does it depend on the appearance of tasks during your games?
2. But maybe a lot of tasks will appear (during the game);
Specifically, battles? Or something else...?
3. If there is a desire and opportunity, I can help any qualified user.
Will you outline the details and agree on the organization?
4. Regarding the arena: preparing for the tournament is not so difficult, but checking the results is SIGNIFICANTLY more time-consuming (game time - 29 days).
Yes... and why exactly 29, and are the subsequent stages (if any :)) also so long?

Well, it is impossible to completely exclude the possibility of this situation; if they want to, such people will be found...
I am ready to discuss constructive suggestions.
For starters...;)
