They won't register under their own nicknames, so it will be unclear who they are later.

Initially, I really didn't like the lyrics of this song, but now I just don't care. I like the melody.

Fragment, with a victory!

we’re not in a literature class to evaluate the text…

The music is actually quite good.

Everyone who wrote about the "humor, joke ))" regarding the earflap... Let's just say that our ideas of what's funny differ slightly in this particular area.

Morni, no worries, I'm right there with you at the bottom, listening to my old, outdated metalcore...

Nothing. It’s usually a sign of unwavering will/refined taste.

Is this okay?

Some kind of pointless drivel.

Regarding the fact that they send outdated content, but don't send new content, and generally don't develop musical tastes, how is that possible...?
At one time, this article on Habr was quite interesting.
Read with skepticism, of course. And keep in mind that the connection to the topic is rather indirect. Just a little bit of humor.

I find it difficult to perceive contests on forums as something competitive, where you need to strive for victory with all your might. Half of the participants (including myself) simply rate based on their own tastes, whether they like it or not, and the other half adjusts their ratings by a point or two based on their own preferences. It's too subjective and unpredictable a system without clear criteria; the themes themselves are vague, and the contestants are very diverse. I perceive the voting purely as a fun addition, an incentive to listen to/watch everything submitted, express my Very Valuable Opinion on each participant, and then look at the result of the collective unconscious and just laugh.

I understand the first half, but not the second... How else can you rate something besides liking or disliking it?

For example, whether something is objectively good or bad. This can include a set of criteria, such as originality, technical execution, balance of components, and so on, which can often be determined even if it doesn't personally resonate with you. If you feel that objectively it's at a level that doesn't allow you to simply lower or inflate the rating based solely on the fact that it's "not your cup of tea," then you can use that as a starting point and adjust the rating according to your preferences.

yes, it's all very simple there. You find a track that doesn't evoke any negative or positive emotions, i.e., it doesn't even have a slightly pleasant vibe. You give it a 5, and then you rate the following tracks based on that rating.
