MANTIKOra is right, they didn't even try with Conquest of America. As for NHL and FIFA, those are a matter of personal preference, falling into the category of games where you'd rather stay inside than go out and play ball. As for Heroes, it's debatable, but generally speaking, it's not that great.

well... Heroes 1 and 2 were very good games for their time)).. and it's silly to talk about them like that). You could say the same about Quake)).

As for the bad ones from the new games... I don't play them and don't know about them, so...

Well, there are three games that I don't like.

Need for Speed Carbon – that's just my personal opinion.
Magic: The Gathering.
Crazy Racing.

Well, forget it, American Conquest is a good game! Also, remember that it's basically an expansion pack. There are tons of missions, the gameplay is focused on Cossacks, and there's plenty of action, what more could you need for happiness? But in general, Nazg is right, it's all for those who like it and are fans.

Play the horror game called Stone of Night - http://www.cddoma.lviv.ua/5/19841/1S__Kamen_nochi_/ and you'll understand how not to make Diablo clones. Yes, play it, but don't buy it; it's better to borrow it from friends or acquaintances, because I'm afraid I'll have to deal with a mass drop in morale here due to wasted money. But, in general, it's all a matter of taste. I don't like the quests, and I agree with Nazg - CS is getting tiresome.

What were you even thinking when you included the cult classic HoMM II in the list of worst games, especially on this forum?
What didn't you like about Heroes 2? The graphics? Were they supposed to make a full 3D game for you in 1995? If you don't like old games, don't play them, but to condemn them based on outdated graphics is as absurd as falling out of love with your mother because of wrinkles and gray hair... Everything ages, and graphics become outdated - in three years, Heroes 5 will have terrible graphics, but who will say now that the developers didn't try with the graphics? They are trying today, and no one can tell you what will be tomorrow!
For their time, the creators of HoMM II did everything they could, and it's not up to you to judge them, especially since you don't understand the basic laws of technological progress.

According to the logic of this post, the worst games are:

1. King's Bounty (yuck, you can't even play with a mouse!)
2. Doom I (the pixels are the size of my head! Unreal is better)
3. Civilization I (the graphics are terrible, the battles are abstract)
4. Dune 2 (the mouse is jerky, there's an imbalance. Tiberium War is 100 times better)
5. Fallout (and this one is just plain bad because it's not 3D)

I'd appreciate it if you didn't insult the first two installments of the Heroes series – I grew up playing them. I'll refrain from commenting myself to avoid starting an argument here. I'll just say that I used to play CS and enjoyed it, but now I realize how silly it was when I developed other interests.

You're still a future man, learn to take responsibility for your words openly – especially since a slight decrease in reputation won't harm your health. And to change what caused the fuss – not openly, by apologizing to the game's fans, but gradually, as if it was always that way! – that's cowardice, I'm afraid.
