I agree, it's a bit sparse. But according to the plot, there aren't supposed to be any gameplay quests in the Dungeon, only for moving towards the Guardians. Frankly, I was just too lazy to fill it with monsters, resources, and terrain =)). But if this affects the map's chances in the contest and I can still fix it, please let me know.
Also, take a look at what's happening with your brown player – he's just stuck on his respawn point.

Good day.

Dear contest participants:
we need quest descriptions from the contestants for "faster" checking; the maps are large, and it takes a lot of time to find the quests. And what if we miss a good quest and don't take it into account, i.e., the contestant may get fewer points, i.e., not receive all the points they deserve. And quests also affect the balance of the map, albeit indirectly, but it is still a fact.
I hope you understand.

Regarding the results of checking the maps, I can say that for me, there are already 2 favorites (contenders for victory in the contest) and 3 contestants who are breathing down their necks, nipping at their heels :)

Sincerely, K0Lb@zzeR.

Would a simple description of the location (e.g., on the left, at the bottom under the city) suffice, or is providing coordinates welcome?

Well, Ganymed has created an "excellent" map description; he could even get extra points just for the description. Draw your own conclusions.
Of course, the more detailed, the better.

Sincerely, K0Lb@zzeR.

Based on the map review results, I can say that I already have 2 favorites (contenders for winning the contest) and 3 competitors who are close behind, nipping at their heels :)
I currently have one map with a significant lead (although I don't particularly like it myself), but I've only looked at a few maps in the editor and haven't played them yet...

Esteemed judges, are you obligated to play through the maps submitted for this contest, or is a thorough review (without actually playing the scenario) also considered a valid way to check a map?

I'm making a small map, specifically for fans of "Always Forward," meaning it's designed with a linear progression – you only move forward, capturing lands in order. It's for Armageddon's Blade; I tried to convert it to Shades of Darkness, but I'm getting some kind of error with the SOD Editor. Now I'm working on it for In the Wake of Gods. I don't think it will qualify for the contest because it's not a "playable" map (meaning it's playable, but not for battles; it's more of a map for exploration, if that makes sense). Can I still upload it? Maybe you could create another contest? Many of my friends said they liked it and asked me to make something similar. Can I make a map for battles? Is it possible to edit a map created by the map generator? I simply don't have enough time to do everything from scratch.

Without playing the map, it will be difficult to objectively evaluate it based on certain criteria, especially regarding the strength of the computer opponent.

Well, here's another map for us to deal with :D :D :D.
Of course, this is a joke :) , but seriously, it's good that you will finish your map.

Of course, you are required to play through each map + a very thorough review in the editor;)

In this regard, the question is as follows: is the opinion on the evaluation of a particular map the same for all judges? Or is the word of the contest organizer decisive? Is there a possibility to challenge the leading judge's vote through disagreement from the other members of the jury? Sincerely.

All judges are equal. If the word of the leading judge were absolute, why would three judges be needed?
