Sacred Haven of Debauchery Auto-translated

Almost like Re:Zero...

I think I'm completely losing it, because my first thought upon seeing "Re: One" was, "Damn, that's a cool name for a mafia setting by Revan!"

Recently, as I was entering a supermarket, a woman in her 40s held the door open for me. And today, a 14-year-old schoolgirl did the same. I hope it's just politeness...

I hold the door for everyone who comes right behind me, regardless of their gender or age. It's simply out of politeness and a habit I developed in college, where holding the door open was the norm, especially considering that in half of the buildings, the entrance doors were heavy and quite stiff.

Is it just me, or does the new editor not check spelling?

Either I have finally achieved complete detachment from the world, or I have simply gone completely mad, but I am now seriously pondering this and cannot recall a single instance in which I passed through a door – either behind someone or in front of them, and I can’t even picture what these doors look like – with the exception of subway doors, which I have encountered for the past decade and a half, and even those I can only vaguely recall now. Hmm. Maybe it has always been this way – you do something, even regularly, but you don’t remember it afterward, no images are retained in your memory.

Modern editor, no need for spellcheck.

The best minds of the internet have gathered here, so even their mistakes are not mistakes, but rather "author's spelling" and "author's punctuation."

Some hold it back so much that they would have been better off not doing it at all. They open it wide and let go too early, so that it then flies at full speed towards the little man behind them.

Alex, you and I have the same elite, distinctive punctuation style – and you know it.

Some people hold the door open for so long that it would be better if they didn't. They open it wide and let go too early, so it slams shut at full speed on the person behind them.

In reality, you just need to open the door towards yourself, not away from yourself, as some people do (this applies to the subway).

I really don't understand why subway trains need doors. Is the draft so strong without them that you have to struggle with these urban portals every time, or even risk a concussion when such a massive thing flies towards you?

In Russia, door beats you.

Enough with oppressing me by having a subway in your cities....
