At the same time, DANDY started playing this English version of the map and completed it 200%. (He even completed several others, unfortunately, there are no proofs left on YouTube, it would have been interesting to watch!). He noticed that the author had made the orange units stronger and changed something else. (How much more complicated can it get!). So, you can try playing the Polish original!
Loaded my saves and was surprised by how many flies spawned in 6 months).
Overall, I think that your playthrough, if successfully completed, will be very valuable, as I did use some serious workarounds in the form of those months of farming flies and using Venwell's bugged strategies in a couple of battles with neutrals.
*
I also tried generating a week of dragonflies once, and, surprisingly, the very first attempt gave me a week of snakes. There were slightly more dragonflies in the main castle, but this only backfired, because Cipesco had more of these dragonflies in two castles, and also, neutral dragonflies joined some of the enemies. After that, I didn't even try to generate anything. I just played however I felt like it.

But you have a great situation with the dragonflies, and many of them even join you. What can I say - you can't blame someone for enjoying a good thing. *:D*By the way, at (105, 60, 0), I skipped 130 flies that wanted to join Taz'ar

In the last garrison, petrifying both stacks of vampires with my mages helped. While the vampires were resting, I killed everyone else, and then I attacked the vampire lords with all my forces.

I tried generating a week of dragonflies once, and, surprisingly, the very first attempt gave me a week of dragons. There were slightly more dragonflies in the main castle, but this only backfired because Zipeeska had more of these dragonflies in two castles, and neutral dragonflies also joined some enemies. After that, I didn't even try to generate anything. I just played however I felt like it.
I was also thinking about this: since you can last until the 6th month, you should be able to gather an army strong enough to ignore all this petty squabbling and cause some trouble for the purple faction.
*
The purple faction turned out to be no match for Tazar, even though they had already amassed quite large armies due to faster development. All of his "small units" were wiped out with almost no losses (as an example, see the third picture). Only the last one was tougher, but it wasn't very difficult to deal with him. Thus, at the moment, I have eliminated all the purple units hanging around the gates, captured 4 castles, and all the resources around them.

In general, the 7th month has begun; I have long lost almost all of my initial castles and resources, and my army has thinned out, but I can still survive (I've attached a save file if you're interested). And at the moment, there are 2 scenarios:
1) Use the quick battle bug to break through the second Necropolis garrison, capture the last castle, and spend until the 12th month building up an army from 5 Necropolises. This wouldn't be entirely fair, but "every map has its own methods."*:D
2) As you suggested: spend almost 6 months building up troops from 4 Necropolises and, by honestly breaking through the gates with the least amount of losses, try to end this "sadomasochistic" game with a blitzkrieg.
You might even beat my time, as I got a bit lazy towards the end and defeated the final boss with an army so large that he practically fell on his own in the auto-battle. My original plan was to defeat him with a 9.1.1 build, but after struggling for about an hour, I decided to gather a substantial army and simply crush him*:D

P.S. The forum update is a bit annoying. Especially these asterisks that appear before the emoticons.

Not least of all, after playing this map, I started to enjoy "underdog" type maps, where the player is restricted in some way.
Not quite right, Dandy finished a 200% playthrough of the original Polish version. He was just testing the English version, and after his comments, the author weakened the Orange faction compared to the initial English version, as the Orange faction's buff was extremely excessive.
Has anyone completed a 200% playthrough of the original English version? And is it even available anywhere?

I have the latest English version downloaded from 11.10.2017 (I doubt I'll ever try to play it myself), but if anyone wants a lighter version, you can find the original Polish version with discussions here.
