We already have 62 people participating in the daily challenges! :smile54: There are almost no spots left for those who want to join ;)
Весна 2012.
New here? I'm Roha — want a quick tour?
It seems we will still need a qualifying round...
So, is the list of participants final (32 people), or will there be further selection?
If there are more than 32 people, there will be a qualifying round among 1-2 pairs of participants... most likely on the m200 template :)
I don't think this is right.
Why plan, reschedule, and so on if you only came for M200? It's good that people decided to come at the last minute, but it's not enough.
I think those who booked a spot in advance should play without any qualifiers. The qualifier should be held among those who registered last. This "educational" measure will also allow people to book and pay for spots in advance for future tournaments.
Well, the tournament rules were written a long time ago...
Tournament format.
The tournament is designed for 32 players. (If there are more, there will be qualifying matches for players with low ratings on the M200 or Jebus King 2.5 template).
Just in case, let me remind you that the tournament regulations were changed (after participants had already started registering).
So, what prevents (or prevented) holding online qualifiers, as it was done in the very first CIS tournaments?
He will easily win the qualifying round, and I don't think any fee will be charged for it, unlike the main stage of the tournament.
You understand that the time constraints don't allow for a tournament with an unlimited number of participants.
Of course, there will be no entry fees for the participants of the qualifying round – only for the participants of the main tournament bracket.
besides, unfortunately, there is no complete certainty that Tvaryna, Chris, and Lizard will be able to attend our event.
With an average to maximum number of participants of around 40 people, with a probability of over 99 percent, let it be no more than 64 people, it turns out that with an adequate timer, the game can be played without any problems: in 5 full scheduled game days on the current platform, there will be at least 10 rounds, or even 13, on average, per game. And there are already options - how exactly to play it...
In my opinion, if someone comes to the lobby without a game rating just to hang out and play, it's not that important, as long as they're present at the event. But if, despite this, they claim to participate with a competitive motivation, it won't be difficult for them to win the qualifying round, for which, I think, no money will be charged, unlike participation in the main stage of the tournament.
