Good day.
I can't seem to create my own avatar. I upload it manually, the image meets the requirements, no errors are displayed, but for some reason, the forum converts any of my files into a GIF, and the icon doesn't display anywhere. However, if I go to the avatar editing section, the uploaded icon is displayed there. Can you suggest a solution?

Sorry, I'm not an admin, so I can't fix it if there's a bug.
I can only suggest that you pay attention to one thing. The system doesn't always prevent you from uploading an avatar of an inappropriate size (in terms of area). The file size limit is strict at 32 KB, but the system might try to automatically scale the area to 155x155, and I'm not sure if this will always work correctly.
Also, try checking the file extension; the system might not recognize some synonymous extensions (e.g., jpeg instead of jpg. The latter definitely works, but I can't guarantee the former). Or maybe it's some specific jfif format.
But if these are isolated cases, you'll have to wait for the Creator to fix it.
