I'm lying here, feeling miserable again. First, I almost accidentally reported "Sky" when I wanted to check his profile on my phone (I clicked "notify moderators" instead of "view profile"). Then, I plugged in my headphones to play a gacha game with more immersion (lol), and it started to make me a little sleepy, so I put my phone aside, and it fell to the floor because of the weight of the cable (unamused). So, I'm just lying here... More time passes, I'm still not sleeping, I'm feeling energetic again, I pick up my phone, launch another gacha game, and I can't hear the girls' voices. Then I notice that the headphone jack is dangling like a *penis* and I realize what the problem is... Well, I bent it back with my fingers, and it seems to be working now, but who knows for how long. In short, not sleeping is not only boring and harmful, but also dangerous.

I wanted to start running. I researched everything to maximize my productivity, considering my weight of 80+ kg. I prepared everything I needed and mentally prepared myself to go out in public in an unflattering athletic outfit because, with my budget and laziness, I couldn't afford a glamorous, fashionable one. I put on those damn leg supports because without them, my osteoarthritis would knock me down and force me to run around like an idiot to the clinic for electrical stimulation instead of enjoying a pleasant run in the park. I tried to turn on my old Nokia Bluetooth headphones to block out all the noise and use music to alleviate the upcoming suffering. The light indicating they're working is constantly on, but they show no signs of life and won't connect to anything. And there's no button or combination to reset them. And that's despite the fact that they worked perfectly with my player just a day and a half ago...
Do I need to say that in the end, I stayed home, and there's no running today or in the near future, at least until I find new, comfortable headphones?

Just today, I woke up about an hour later because my arm and leg were numb again (sleeping on a broken couch isn't great), and I reached for my phone to check the time. I forgot that it was connected to a power strip with a bunch of cables, the power strip fell off the table, knocking everything on it to the floor, including a glass of water.

I have some kind of broken port on my computer, which causes the voice audio to constantly cut out, but the music remains. It's quite amusing, but also annoying at the same time. A light tap on it is the only thing that saves me from this.

When I, for example, travel around the city by bus or just walk short distances, I also prefer to have my ears open, and when sitting, I just sit and read a book. But when it comes to a long journey, I prefer headphones when I'm alone. The exception is the evening, because in the evening, especially in the dark, it's better to be alert. That means having open ears + a pepper spray in your hand, hidden in your pocket.

I agree, running without headphones isn't enjoyable. Unless it's a new route, then you can still spend your attention looking at the surroundings, especially in a forest. But otherwise, it gets boring, and you'll constantly be thinking about whether it's time to finish...

I lost my "street" headphones in the capital of evil several years ago, and I haven't been able to find a replacement since. It's not an easy task, considering my miniature ear canals.
