Anime

Why would anyone like him? He makes movies for random viewers who come to the cinema just to kill some time.

He creates something truly exceptional, pouring his soul and beliefs into his work in a way that resonates with people, regardless of who they are, inspiring them and leading them to become better... This is incomparable to the rest of the industry, which, while sometimes interesting and curious in its details, mostly just focuses on making money from silly shonen stories, isekai, boring and monotonous sports, and other things that are not much different from other Japanese schools.

You can and should put your heart into it, but let them keep their beliefs somewhere else.

the rest of the industry

How many titles have you watched, how many episodes?

How many titles have you watched, how many episodes?..

Woe to you, who are now sated, for you will be filled. Too much experience is not an argument in a dispute when there is sufficient experience, and I have already understood the trends based on what I have. With the same success, you can listen to all sorts of uncles who cannot argue, but immediately wave their beards, saying, "I am older, so I am smarter!" Moreover, too much experience in something specific, leading to overtraining of the brain, is, on the contrary, harmful for understanding what is happening. Simply because for its understanding, a multifaceted assessment is needed, and all your experience is concentrated in one area. There was such a guy, Karl Popper...

So, how many?

So, how many in total?

TV: 33, OVA: 1, Movies: 22, Spcl.: 5, Eps: 779, Days: 14.20

Well, watch at least 100 days’ worth of content from different genres and eras, and then we can continue talking about the industry.

I have already proven that you can’t be more authoritative than me, so you can’t talk down to me… Once you invent a machine that makes people forget about anime and they forget about it for at least 50 days of screen time, then you can regain your authority…

I personally never take into account the opinions of people who have played the game for less than 100 days.

:(

I personally never take into account the opinions of people who have spent less than 100 days on the forum.

Said a person who doesn't have much authority here.

and it's supposedly different from other Japanese schools in some way.

What, isn't it? There are all sorts of demons and everything explodes. There's also a festival sometimes. I didn't have that experience.

Major S2, Major S3, Major S4, Major S5, Major S6, Major Movie: Yuujou no Winning Shot, Major: World Series, Major: MessageWatching Major is like playing an expedition or conducting one – at first it's interesting, then it becomes tiresome (many battles, calculations, etc.), and in the end, after a long buildup, everything is interrupted, and the author gives you a rushed ending.

When did I start watching the first 'season'? In the fall of 2012, and finished it a year and a half later on the same day that it officially ended. Of course, there were some flaws here and there in these 175 episodes, and I don't even remember how enthusiastically I watched the last ones, but overall, I really liked Fairy Tail. I think I even tried to read the manga back then, but I didn't like it; either the content itself didn't live up to my expectations, or it was just that I'm not a big fan of this format. Be that as it may, I started watching the sequel that came out the following year with great enthusiasm, but eventually dropped it very quickly. And now, six years later, I suddenly wanted to finish it. Well, what can I say? The first arc-tournament (which is where I stopped watching) didn't appeal to me at all, but after that, it becomes more or less decent. It's all cheerful and youthful, plus the author and animators have the right priorities, so there are many good shots and funny moments. In this regard, the drawing style is much more attractive than in many other popular shonen series. As for the "plot" itself, which, like everywhere else, revolves around fights, it can be described by two patterns:
- There are many antagonists who possess immense power, an order of magnitude stronger than their predecessors; the heroes are on the verge of defeat, but they overcome it and win through the power of friendship or spirit. Nothing is explained.
- Some villain inflicts a fatal wound on one of the heroes, the viewer is shown several minutes of flashbacks accompanied by tragic music, his comrades get angry and gain strength, defeat the villain, and then it turns out that the character is actually alive and well.
I have nothing against this formula, but even I had to note that it was used too often here. And if you look at the plot and world-building as a whole, little makes sense in it. Nevertheless, the experience itself is satisfactory, and if it weren't for the focus on combat, I would rate it much higher. For example, I cannot say the same about Shippuden, with which I have a similar story and which I have been trying to finish watching for some time now. Surprisingly, the plot in it is even worse (although this is not news to me, since I know it from the manga), and there are no redeeming qualities as in Fairy Tail.

In 2012-2013, my favorite character was the blue-haired young man aged 19-26, and this time it's the blue-haired loli. What could this mean...?
