Blue (player):
-- Gandalf -- (*start) - Gandalf the Grey, Gandalf the White - one of the main characters in J.R.R. Tolkien's works "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit". In these books, Gandalf appears as a wise wizard, a member of the White Council, and a helper of the weak. By nature, he comes from the race of the Ainur and is considered one of the lesser (in power) angelic spirits - the Maiar. Gandalf was considered one of the wisest of the Maiar. His mission was to help the free peoples of Middle-earth in their struggle against the Dark Lord Sauron.
-- Frodo -- (*start) - Frodo Baggins - an outstanding hobbit from the Shire, the only son of Drogo Baggins and Primula Brandybuck, nephew of Bilbo Baggins. Frodo became the keeper of the One Ring, which the Dark Lord Sauron sought to obtain in order to gain complete power. Frodo carried the Ring from the Shire to Rivendell and volunteered to carry it further, to Mordor, to destroy it in the fires of Mount Doom.
-- Aragorn -- (*prison) - Aragorn - son of Arathorn II and Gilraen. Chieftain of the Dúnedain of the North. Direct heir of Isildur, the last High King of Arnor and Gondor. Aragorn became the greatest of Men in his time, led the Men of the West in the war against Sauron's forces, helped destroy the One Ring (he was one of the Nine Ringwraiths), and reunited the kingdoms of Arnor and Gondor.
-- Legolas -- (*prison) - Legolas Greenleaf - an elf, son of Thranduil, king of the Elves of Mirkwood. Legolas is of the Silvan Elves, but his name belongs to the Wood-elves.
-- Gimli -- (*prison) - son of Glóin - a respected dwarf warrior in Middle-earth. He is one of the members of the Fellowship of the Ring. Gimli came from the oldest race of dwarves - the Longbeards, the first inhabitants of Khazad-dûm, and was the first descendant of Durin in the younger line.
Green (ally):
-- Elrond -- Elrond - a half-elf who chose the fate of the elves. Son of the first half-elves, Eärendil the Mariner and Elwing, brother of Elros, father of Arwen, Elladan, and Elrohir, grandfather of Eldarion. Lord of the Elves of Rivendell in the Second and Third Ages.
-- Galadriel -- Galadriel - an elven lady, a character in John R.R. Tolkien's epic "The Lord of the Rings". Lady of Lothlórien. The most beautiful and powerful of the elven ladies remaining in Middle-earth in the Third Age. For her beautiful appearance, she was called the "Morning Star of the Elven people".
-- Théoden -- Théoden - the seventeenth king of Rohan. He ruled during the War of the Ring and led the Rohirrim to war against Saruman the White. Later, Théoden led the army of Rohan to help Gondor, fulfilling the oath of Éorl.
-- Éomer -- Éomer - son of Éomund, ruler of Eastfold, brother of Éowyn, and nephew of King Théoden, the third marshal of the Mark.
-- Éowyn -- Éowyn - granddaughter of Théngel, niece of King Théoden, sister of Éomer, wife of Faramir, mother of Elboron.
Yellow (enemy):
-- Golfimbul -- Golfimbul - the leader of the orcs of Mount Gram, who led the raid of his band on the Shire. He was defeated in the Battle of Greenfields by Bandobras Took, nicknamed "Bullroarer". Bandobras Took knocked Golfimbul's head off with a club, and it flew through the air until it landed in a rabbit hole. According to hobbit folklore, this inspired the creation of golf, which was named after this orc.
-- Grishnákh - an orc from Barad-dûr, commander of a detachment of Mordor orcs sent by Sauron to search for the One Ring.
-- Azog -- Azog - the leader of the orcs of the Misty Mountains, who settled in the dwarf kingdom of Khazad-dûm and called himself its ruler.
-- Bolg -- Bolg - an orc from the Misty Mountains, son of Azog, leader of the army of orcs (goblins) in the Battle of Five Armies.
-- Ulfric-Wolf -- (invented by the author) - the leader of one of the tribes living in the northern wastelands and in Forodwaith.
-- Bianca-Lynx -- (invented by the author) - the wife of the leader (Ulfric-Wolf) of one of the tribes living in the northern wastelands and in Forodwaith.
Purple (enemy):
-- Saruman -- Saruman the White, (Curunír Lán in Sindarin) - the most powerful wizard of the Order of the Istari, head of the White Council. After arriving in Middle-earth, he became known among the Elves as Curunír, and among the Men of the North as Saruman. In Valinor, he was called Curumo. Later, he opposed the Order and proclaimed himself Saruman the Colorful.
-- Nazgûl -- The Nazgûl - nine lords of men who were enslaved by the Rings of Power and became servants of Sauron.
-- Witch-king of Angmar -- The Witch-king of Angmar - the leader of the Nazgûl. Also known as the Black Lord and the Lord of Terror. His exact name is unknown; in the chronicles of Middle-earth, he is called the "Witch-king of Angmar".
Orange (enemy):
-- Burgomaster -- the ruler of Esgaroth until 2941 T.E.
-- Alfrid -- the deputy burgomaster of Lake-town (Esgaroth). Alfrid is very cowardly, selfish, and callous.
-- Beorn -- Beorn - a skin-changer, the leader of the Beornings, a people of Northmen who lived in the valley of Anduin, near Carrock.
-- Shagrat - a Uruk-hai captain from the guard of Cirith Ungol (a lieutenant of Sauron, he wore a shield with the symbol of the Crimson Eye).
-- Gorbag - captain of the Morgul guard in Cirith Ungol (a lieutenant of the Nazgûl, he wore a shield with the symbol of the Moon-sign).
Red (enemy):
-- Khamûl -- Khamûl - one of the nine Nazgûl, the right hand of the Witch-king. The only one of the Nine whose name was mentioned by Tolkien.
-- Gollum -- Gollum, also known as Sméagol - one of the key characters in the works of John R.R. Tolkien.
-- Sauron -- Sauron - one of the first Maiar who sided with Melkor. He was his right hand, the most powerful and loyal of the Dark Lord's servants. After the fall of his master, he himself became the Dark Lord. To gain power over other peoples, Sauron forged the One Ring in the fires of Mount Doom and became known as the Lord of the Rings.
-- Es-Harad -- (invented by the author) - a sorceress from Haradwaith, a large desert that also contains jungles, where the Mumakil live - elephant-like animals used by the Haradrim army as war beasts, similar to war elephants in Asia.
-- Magister Ell -- (invented by the author) - a sorcerer from Haradwaith, specializing in elemental magic.
