Shopa played SoD and was in the group of favorites with Dave. Dave on Citadel outplayed Shopa's Necro without retreat.

Dave also won the tournament on h3dm2, where the lineup was extremely strong. He took revenge on Lucky 3:0 for the previous 0:5. (Note, Lucky Shopa 4:3 on mirror. Not an argument, but still.)
Dave also showed excellent play in HotA 6lm in the CIS final.

Based on the results on both versions, this year is definitely Dave's.

Dave is probably indeed unmatched for the past year.

The topic is certainly interesting, but first, let's announce the nominees and their achievements for the year. Especially for those who follow the tournament scene intermittently. It would be great to compile statistics from 20-30 significant tournaments this year in one post and the results of the contenders for the title in them.
