The ransom from neutrals is an important change, allowing you to return a hero and army from any part of the map where there are neutrals. It would be interesting to know which of the sponsor's requests and which are the organizer's ideas; it would be good to separate them so that the rules could be discussed more actively. Did the organizer also choose the templates? I understand that popular maps from Heroes of Might and Magic were excluded, but similar maps to M200 and other small maps were added. There is no mention of rebuilding the tower, but this is the main difference between Heroes of Might and Magic Online and the original game. Which versions of the game are being approached, if it's not a secret? Anarchy on small and medium-sized maps – which community plays like that?

From Belarus, I received confirmation of participation – it’s “Skotina.” But the teams themselves haven’t really been formed yet. There are no captains. I wrote to Amster, who was the captain last time, but he hasn’t responded yet. So far, I only have individual confirmations of 1-3 players from different teams.

The GM restructuring will be included, and most likely, it will be possible from any level (Fresh mod).

I chose the templates, not the sponsor. This is nothing more than a draft for the current team, which doesn’t exist yet. The templates will be selected based on the team. At the moment, no one else has agreed to stream – and I physically won’t be able to stream Mini Nosty or 6LM10A all day, every day. If you are ready to stream such games, I’m waiting for you on the team, and we will record these templates – it’s that simple. Presumably, there will be 12-18 games per week (if there are 12 teams), and if there are more, then even more. I repeat once again for those who didn’t understand – there’s no point in making a format that you can’t handle. I’m proceeding based on my current capabilities. If you want something different, I’m waiting for you on the team; if not, you can watch.

Anarchy on small maps – where do people play like that? A tournament was recently held on HW, if you need a link.
Based on the paid bracket, it’s clear that it probably won’t happen, based on the discussion and feedback.

It's funny that HotA isn't played at all, but a lot of changes are made to SoD, which greatly affect the gameplay. Make up your mind, do you want to play SoD or a balance mod?

This tournament has long turned into a complete farce. An attempt to create something grand out of readily available materials. We're waiting for Alfein and his World team, as a final shot!

Right now we are recording the applications before the start of the tournament. It is not a fact that everyone who applied will actually play.

1. Proger's father is from Syria. This point was already discussed back at Skorostrel (but how could players from ХВ know about this, since the tournament took place specifically on that portal).

2. Yar also has Korean roots according to him (if there are those who don't trust this - we will ask Yar to provide some proofs :)). In general, we are still waiting for a response from the Koreans themselves.

3. Helen declined himself ("I quit Heroes" in his words), as did the entire Polish national team, with perhaps the exception of Jaris, who tried to gather them. The Poles need HotA, and it won't be here. This is their decision - so I wouldn't troll those who are willing to play SoD. The agreement or refusal of any players does not make the tournament better or worse; someone almost always takes the place of everyone. There is no chase for TOP players only. This is a tournament that brings together those who want to participate in creating content, which shows the geography of Heroes, a show for the viewer, etc.

4. Regarding the "grandiose" part. I have never claimed anything grandiose (grandiosity is not the decision of a sponsor or organizer, actually). We are making content that is interesting to the viewer and does not exist elsewhere. And those who have more opportunities than we do - they aren't making it. Asking why seems pointless to me. When a task is set before me and it interests me - I look for ways to implement it based on the small opportunities available. Forgive me, but I am not capable of more. I understand that everyone sees things differently, and I apologize for not meeting your expectations and desires :)

5. Regarding playing for other countries, regardless of your citizenship - read the participant requirements - everything is there.

P.S. Everything as usual :) First we write - then we read and figure it out... If you remember the last tournament, how much trolling, inattentiveness, and distrust there was - nothing has changed) You probably criticize the CIS championship because players from outside the CIS play there, because its name is too loud, and because only those who can travel play there, not just the best? Let's better support what we still have. Justified criticism is very useful, but it should come with suggestions.

I wrote to the Jamaican government. They did NOT respond, indicating that they are against me and Voytek playing for the Jamaican team in the third installment of the Heroes series. So, I don't see any problem; everything is legitimate.

Then, perhaps, a more modest name for the tournament should be chosen. World Team Cup clearly positions it as a tournament, at least on the level of a world championship. And if that's the case, it needs to live up to (or at least strive for) that status.

The only change in SoD compared to the original is the Mage Guild Restructuring, and even then, only because it's vital for playing on large maps. All other rules are just specific cases of what can be in the game. For example, banning vampire upgrades or banning creature recruitment is a restriction, but not a change. And "improving" skills etc. - that's already VOG. Simply the position "We will balance SoD, but we will never play HotA" is either double standards or just self-deception. :smile35: I love SoD, but I'd rather play HotA than this nonsense being passed off as SoD balance.
