I've come to the conclusion that the last time I entered the arena, it wasn't for fun, but rather because I had a ton of tickets and needed to use them. As a result, I realized that if I ever feel like playing the arena just for fun, I'll probably have another stack of tickets by then. Funny. I was just about to try out Artifact Lyanna. The interesting thing is that her tokens are also artifacts; you can put them in your deck, you can take them out of your deck, and in general, you need to hardcore manipulate resonance and place destructions at the right time. Although I haven't tried it, it's probably actually difficult to manage when you need to.

Ah, lol, I didn't even think of that. In my head, an artifact = overhyped cardboard Dota game follower. I should test it then. Although still, in my opinion, it's a questionable pleasure to mix destructions into the deck when you can just smash their face with Radiants under own same Silva by turn 7-9)

I was just thinking that I hadn't pulled a legendary in quite a while, and then a random chronopack suddenly became generous enough to give me 3 :o I'm not even sure if I've ever pulled that many from a single pack...



I already have full sets of these legendaries, so 3000 vials literally out of nowhere. But I'm especially glad about Rain—I've wanted to pull a third one for a long time; for some reason, I was stingy and didn't want to craft her until I had the full set, even though most forest decks run three... Probably because of the link to the evo-effect, and because forest already has plenty of early game options, but now I might add the third one.

The opponent was making full use of techniques, banning two DiB with those golems. I was almost certain I would lose, but it turned out that suddenly there wasn't a single seraph activator in his hand x)

Ah, I wouldn't mind getting a third Insect Lord, a first Knight, and maybe a third Spinaria, even though she's not really needed. But it seems like Chronogenesis will remain a cursed expansion for me. I crafted two Lords and two Spinarias myself, yes. And I crafted a third Elf, after which she promptly dropped from a pack.

I tried Lyhenna with artifacts – the impressions are mixed. On the one hand, it's a fun and fresh gameplay experience, with many new elements appearing, but on the other hand, I haven't managed to play Black Destruction even once. Either you get Deus, and your hand is empty, and it becomes more reliable to start shuffling your deck than to rely on topdecking. Or even more fun – it's an anti-synergy with Nilpotent Entity. Between "discard an under-leveled Destruction with a 33/50/100% chance, but protect your face" and "get a Chimera/Ankin's Sorceress/enemy Destruction/just a hit from a fat follower to the face on the next turn," you usually choose the first option.

I'm not sure if it's worth using Lysandra in artifacts. Yes, it's an additional win condition, but at the same time, it's an anti-synergy with the main gameplay through Deus, and that's a serious drawback... From my observations, Lysandra is much more effective if you go for full control and build a deck specifically around her. When playing with Deus, as Vish rightly pointed out, it's much easier and faster to win with Radiants than to try to make Lysandra work with artifacts. However, I wouldn't say that even a specialized deck is much better; it's still Tier 3. And perhaps that's even a good thing; something like this, as well as Mystery, shouldn't become too strong. In general, I feel that OoT will be remembered as the expansion that spawned a whole host of decks that are often just awful to play against – and that includes pre-nerf DFB (already history), post-nerf Shadow, and Highlanders, all in the same vein... I qualified for the Grand Prix with Gigahimera (4-1), so now I can safely quit for 30 rupees, which is what I advise everyone to do – this Grand Prix promises to be unpleasant, given the current situation in the game... When the meta is such that the ladder (and, consequently, the Grand Prix) is flooded with the same Tier 1 deck that beats anything, then it's a terrible meta. Right now, that's exactly what's happening in the rotation, and in Unlimited, as far as I understand, things aren't much better either (at the top, there's Shadow of Ectar and a couple of decks that can counter it). Before the nerfs, of course, everything was stronger, so Shadow wasn't as much of a problem as it is now. Sigames decided to tackle everything at once and failed to achieve their goal, ultimately ruining the meta again, as 3-4 decks at the top are obviously better than one. I guess I was lucky again to get GM at a more or less normal point in the expansion, before they messed up again. Now, I would immediately refuse such an idea, just imagining a hundred Shadows standing in the way... What can I say, hello Bots 2.0.

I’m not planning on qualifying, and I haven’t encountered many Dungeon creatures. I’ll play as her myself, if needed. I just need the third Cerberus to complete my collection, but even without it, I can still dominate.

This guy spent half the game with Gilnelize under ambush and just wouldn't play Arcus. And what was I supposed to do? Nothing. I just sat there and watched him shuffle his deck. It's a shame he conceded when he realized I was just trying to deck him out.

Damn. I realized why I have so much stuff related to O10. They introduced a new level of AI bosses, and I opened a ton of packs from them.
So, I guess I'll have to be disappointed again with the next pack. :(
Oh well. Right now, thanks to this abundance, I've managed to finish up some things and tweak others, so overall, it should be more fun to play.

Where is the cash grab? It should have been released a long time ago.

Well, Chrono came out in late December, so the new pack should be around then too, and the mini-pack at the end of November. There's still time, although yes, it's about time to release.

For once, the draw worked out so that I could put Destruction over Artifact Portal. I set up both quite quickly at the expense of normal gameplay through Deus. I got a Banish from Vals and flew off because there was nothing to activate Resonance immediately.
Threw away that false-singing world-destroyer, added Silva back — I get three Silvas, a Deus, and a Hakrabi in hand at the start. Never lucky, baby rage.

But I like these decks. Yes, they are draw-dependent: if Omen and heavy cards on curve show up — you're carrying; if Omen doesn't show up — there's little you can do. It somewhat reminds me of Big Spell decks from HS.
But damn, finally many legendaries in my collection have turned from a depressing "too bad to disenchant, useless to play, no dust to craft the full set" into normal playable cards. Playing as Highlanders is also interesting for me — depending on what you draw, the plan can change radically. And against them too — it's better to play around everything, just like in Arena)

Last time, they released it after 1.5 months, but it seems they decided to revert to the old schedule. Apparently, they felt that giving players a month and a half to prepare for the new pack was too much, and they need to milk them later.

I just got the Rolled one. Looking closer—there's something strange about the part of his face hidden by the mask. Still, he's still a long-haired guy in an excellent suit; it's just a pity that the map is crap.

Against this backdrop, I'll update the stats on how many legs I have for each expansion. Purely based on whether legs are present or absent, regardless of the actual quantity.

Does anyone still play Grand Prix? I predictably failed the first stage, but I made it to the finals on the first try with the Haesik killers.

Also, what do you think of the reprints? I think the old Greya is still more interesting, but the grown-up (?) Lyriel and Lisa look good. The latter also has a cool mechanic.
Portal received another decent 2-drop, Shadow - another crazy 4-drop, Greyruna - another useless golem, nothing new. I also found it amusing that the sword is getting back its old synergy with officers. It looks interesting, but it's weak even compared to the Sage Commander. Although, maybe it will be playable because of the evolution effect.

There's already a whole DRAMA on Reddit about Lisa 2.0, with people saying it's the best tutorial in the game and that it will flood the unlimited mode. Overall, half of the maps look suspiciously good; I've saved up enough dust for one and a half full sets, but that won't be enough >_>
Also, I predict broken Lions and Mystery.
My opinion is simpler: they still haven't reprinted Azazel, so I dislike it, I'm unsubscribing, and it's a bad game.
