The unlimited mid-game shadow with zero new legendary units gave me the craziest win streak. As for the sword, I can't say much; I'm focusing on aggro with Selia, and she's incredibly helpful. I'm not sure how it would be without her, but it seems like it's still possible to win.
The problem is that I disenchanted Kektar when he was nerfed, but unlike Sibylla, I immediately decided not to craft him back. So, the only construct option is Arcus-Fery-Katya, and I only have Arcus in one copy. And Reanimator just doesn't work. Regarding Might and Magic, I could create a budget aggro deck, but without Celia, it would be an ultra-budget aggro deck. I'm not going to craft her, 100%, and her impact is impossible to underestimate; she fits very well in this deck. In short, I'm at a loss; Tsigei are just not leaving any options for F2P players...
And Snow isn't needed without the Turtles, actually. The main thing is to have Zhanna x3.
You could try assembling some kind of aggro deck in the rotation, but I'm not sure if there are enough tools available, as Shadow has limited burn and storm. In unlimited, it's easier, but aggro Shadow is still not amazing; it relies on Phantom Howl and dog units. Oil Thief isn't very expensive, in principle, but it's almost purely an unlimited deck, and crafting cards specifically for it isn't particularly great, and the deck itself is somewhat weak. There's also a reanimation strategy with the golden Ceridwen in Khavy/Mordau and Atomem, but I haven't played them yet; I'm a bit tired of it in Duels, as it's too high-variance. Overall, in my opinion, unlimited is a great option for free-to-play players. The decks are cheap, you can swap a popular legendary for something worse but still viable, control Blood is cheaper than rotational aggro Sylvan, and so on.
Hmm, I completely forgot about Neftis, and I actually have everything for her. Except for those girls who cast "Last Word" twice, which appeared in later versions. Thanks for reminding me, I'll try it later.

Yesterday, I saw a guy on the trials and deliberately lost to him, and today he lost to me.
Uuu aaa yyyy, what twisted people, so sportsmanlike, I wish there were more like them!
It turns out that letting a guy win so he can easily pass the last match in the ranking is sporty and honorable. Just like buying a diploma in an underground passage, I guess. Win-trading is also not shameful, apparently. Well, let them say that such abuses are even banned in some projects, it's not shameful! Very beautiful and sporty, like a Dutch steering wheel. You buy a ticket to some low-tier tournament after working at a factory, to cheer, and everything is decided peacefully. If everyone acted like that, there would be no misfortunes, and communism would come, you don't do anything, and you have everything.
In D&D, one guy also lost to me on GM trials, lol. Thanks, it's very helpful! Otherwise, I might get kicked out at the beginning of the trials and have to play two more games. I stomped noobs for a week, beat grandmasters, countered toxic players, all on my own deck and skill, and then suddenly - I stop. Good thing some guy gave me a nice, sporty assist. I will definitely act like a man and lose to him in return on his trials!
At first, I read this as "shVitye" from the word "SHV" and just screamed. It took me a couple of minutes to realize what was actually meant, but I'm still laughing. I'll call players in Heroes of Might and Magic that from now on.
I don't let anyone pass, even though these hardcore players usually beat me anyway. When I start thinking, "maybe I should take it easy on this guy," I remember how I was one win away from Legend in Heroes of Might and Magic, I lost to a guy from Legend, and then went on a losing streak and dropped to rank 3.
You are absolutely doing the right thing. I combine both approaches. Otherwise, there are too many useless losers around – let's give them free Legendaries, let's give them free packs (if necessary, we'll suck up to the KMR for three boosters), come on, guys, everyone who made it to the Grand Prix final, let's give up and give free wins to our opponents, let's lose on trials to get a lower rank, oh guys, I'm a free-to-play player, a newbie, and a casual player, I don't claim anything, I'm just a memer with a deck from the internet... But give me a GP deck, please! Am I worse than the sweaty try-hards who grind? Please suggest a GM deck in three days, but make it budget-friendly.
I would gladly help, but I just don't feel like dealing with it, and besides, I usually log in to complete the daily tasks, and the faster you finish them, the better.
Some people put in the effort and spend 20 hours a day working on their maps, and then others want the same bonuses and achievements without putting in the same effort. But that's not going to happen.
And yet, Wisps is the scariest map in the forest. Wisp, wisp, bounce, bounce, wisp, wisp, SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. Now it's clear why not everyone risks showing up in unranked matches.
