Regarding soups – there are things I can't stand (classic shchi), but sometimes there are really good soup places. Today in our cafeteria (don't laugh, but the place is actually quite decent, guaranteed to be no worse than any a-la McDonald's; we are often treated to pork knuckles, ribs, and other such things) I had a very good gazpacho. In general, I prefer fish and mushroom soups (you can even have a fish and mushroom soup, it goes well together). Some time ago, I personally made French onion soup, and the result was pleasing... In short, those who don't like soups probably (but not necessarily) only eat shchi and borscht. But in skilled hands, it can be a very powerful dish.
Added 4 minutes later [/U]I'm still suffering, and another doctor can't determine the cause. I'll keep you updated! Separately, I want to thank the CIS healthcare system, which once again proved that relying on the body's regenerative abilities or self-treatment is not such a bad option.
