Posts from Is it possible to defeat 1000 Archangels with just one Imp?
Message from Denminator
Since Archangels are level 7 units, they have high power. You can cast the "Berserk" spell, and they will kill each other. Then, use "Explosion" on the remaining ones, and hide the demons behind obstacles.
I wonder, what do you need all this for?
You need the first turn, and for this, Tactics and Ballistics are best. You absolutely need a cart (99 Magic and 99 Knowledge, though less is acceptable, it's not mandatory), Expert Intellect, and Expert Earth and Air magic. The Sword of Armageddon is ideal for destroying 7 slots of Archangels. An artifact that increases Earth and Fire magic damage by 50% is also desirable.
Attack a fort (without towers, without a hero).
Case a) 1 slot of Archangels, b) 2 or more.
Start of the battle:
1. Tactics mode
1.2. Place the Imp in the upper left corner of the screen, one square above the cart!!!
2. Start the battle
2.1. a) Catapult turn, blind the Archangels.
b) Catapult turn. Cover the Imp with a Force Field (3 squares; the Force Field covers the Imp so that the Archangels have no room to attack!!!). You can slow them down, but then there's no guarantee they won't get lucky. The Archangels destroy the catapult – it doesn't matter, the Force Field lasts for 3 turns.
3. a) Slow down the blinded Archangels.
b) Slow down the Archangels.
4. a) Give the Imp speed (familiar).
b) Give the Imp speed (now its speed is greater than the speed of the slowed Archangels – the first turn is ours!).
5. a) Place a Force Field.
b) Unleash all sorts of magic on the Archangels (Armageddon from the Sword of Armageddon, or whatever you want!).
6. a) Use the explosion on the Archangels!!!
b) Place a Force Field.
7. a) Repeat steps 5 and 6 until complete victory.
b) Repeat steps 5 and 6.
Don't forget to monitor the duration of the "Slow" spell; it's better to recast it than to lose!
And that's it:D
Using this method, I defeated 4 slots of 4,000 Azure Dragons without losing a single monster. However, I had 4,000 Snipers, 1 Archangel, and an artifact that removes all magic defenses from monsters. My hero had 99 attributes in everything and all sorts of magic, Expert Earth magic.
I completed the map "malkoto_pise" in 6 months because I wasn't in a hurry:D
That's why I like Heroes – because you can almost always find a way out of any situation:cool:
In reality, it's quite simple.
You need the first turn, and for this, Tactics and Ballistics are best. You absolutely need a cart (99 magic power and 99 knowledge, though less is acceptable, it's not mandatory), Expert Intellect, and Expert Earth and Air magic. Armageddon's Blade is ideal for destroying 7 slots of Archangels.
Moreover, the topic has been exhausted – I have already proven that it can be done even with a Peasant.

Regarding the explosion, with 99 spell power and taking into account summoning a wall, it will take 30 turns (+-1:D). Adding the hero's spellcasting ability will reduce it by 4 turns; it might be faster with elementals, but I haven't checked:smile36:.
b) catapult turn. We block the demon with a force field (3 cells; the force field blocks the demon so that the archangels have no room to attack!!!). The archangels destroy the catapult – it's not a problem; the force field lasts for 3 turns.
Are you even aware of how a force field behaves on uneven terrain? With zero magic power? And so on.
You describe everything in such detail, but do you even understand that half of your conditions are just silly complications – everything is much simpler, why this approach? Even reading your post is tiring because of the amount of unnecessary information!
Besides, a force field lasts for 2 turns, not 3! If it lasted for 3 turns, this spell would undoubtedly be one of the best in Heroes 3 and would put some higher-level spells in their place.
Actually, the force field lasts for 2 turns, not 3!
Regarding the complications and unnecessary information, the question was simply "is it possible?" I provided my method! This is one of the possible methods, and I don't claim it's perfect!
Moreover, an Earth Magic expert is a mandatory requirement! You can lower the hero's stats (50 spell power, 50 knowledge - you can even lower them further), it will just take more turns.

I disagree again. :D In this specific example (see the thread), you can easily do without an earth magic expert, and you can also choose fewer victory conditions...;)
My mistake :D, I was still unsure whether it should be 2 or 3, but now I checked.

In short, as I said, we are talking about possibility, which exists, is described, and there is a save file available, and all Archangels stand in one group. No experts are needed.
You just create [them], summon a cloud of elementals, and defeat with combat magic,
if necessary, restore the Imp (or whoever). And that’s it. Period.

You need to have:
1. Cursed Armor
2. Explosion
3. Protective Field
4. Sphere of the Sludge Lake
5. Expert in Wisdom, Intelligence, Tactics, Fire Magic, Earth Magic, preferably also Magic
6. 99 Strength and Knowledge. Just for fun, you can double the mana in the dungeon.
7. Hourglass to bring the morale of the Archangels down to zero.
8. Blindness
I don't think I forgot anything.
So, the armor at the beginning of the game will slow down the Archangels by 50%. That is, they won't reach you before turn 9, and the bird won't appear on them because of the hourglass.
By moving the Imps to the corner according to the tactics, we set up a protective field (it's a pity it doesn't last long, I'm not sure how long. You definitely need to know how long. It's easy to find out. We blind the Archangels and wait for the field to disappear). We set up the field again. We bombard the Archangels with an explosion dealing more than 11500 damage, waiting for the turn after which the field will disappear. In this turn, instead of the explosion, we blind the Archangels. Then we set up the disappeared field and keep attacking until the final victory.
Don't worry about the mana, 4000 will be more than enough.
As requested, I killed 1000 Archangels in an open field with one Imp. As it turns out, it's not the gods who make the pots;)
Those who want can test this option, but I'm out. It will take 45 turns just for the explosions. That's too long.
Too complicated? But is anything easy these days?
I don't see the point in this, but it can be done if you really want to:D
You need:
2 Explosion
No, but why do you need Explosion? How many Archons will you take down with it, even with 99 Magic Power?
3 Protective Field
4 Sphere of the Muddy Lake
Why do you need Protective Field, why do you need Sphere? Everything can be solved perfectly without it...
6 99 Power and Knowledge. Just for fun, you can double the mana in the dungeon.
And what's the point of this one? You might even offend him, but it's just stupid.
7 Sandglass, to bring the morale of the Archangels down to zero.
Sandglass NEVER affects morale!!! You're wrong.
By tactically moving the Imps to the corner, we set up a Power Field (it's a pity it doesn't last long, I'm not sure how long. It's important to know how long. It's easy to find out. We blind the Archangels and wait for the field to disappear). We set up the field again. We attack the Archangels with Explosion, dealing more than 11500 damage, waiting for the turn after which the field will disappear. In this turn, instead of Explosion, we blind the Archangels. Then we set up the disappeared field AND keep attacking until the final victory.
Don't worry about mana, 4000 will be more than enough.
Tactics are not necessary at all!
Power Field ALWAYS lasts for two turns.
In general, this task can be solved much easier by summoning elements - it's simpler and easier ;)

This is how I defeated 4 slots with 4,000 Azure Dragons each, without losing a single monster. I had 4,000 snipers, 1 Archangel, and an artifact that removes all magical defenses from monsters. My hero had 99 attributes in everything and all kinds of magic, and was an experienced Earth Mage.

Can you upload the save file to the "Battle Tactics" thread? I, for example, haven't encountered 4,000 Azure Dragons under such conditions. And to confirm what you said, can you explain what, how, and why? - Can you share your own battle theory, the tactics for completing this battle...?
Without specific explanations, I can claim that you are a liar! Even if you write that you gave morale every turn; show it all with an example, and it will be easier not only for you ;)(I don't mean myself :D)
