Ah, I lied, I don't have a decent deck for runes either. Well, in theory, I could craft a couple of Ozeks or a second Ginger, but I don't really feel like it. And for spellboost, I'm missing too much.

It's funny that I don't feel like playing with two crafts that used to be my favorites (runes and swords) anymore. But the Sylvan faction, which I neglected for a long time, is now one of my favorites.

I saw people posting builds without Oz, you should look around on Reddit. Or just take any build and swap Oz for Melvi; that's what I did until I crafted the full set.

Advanced to the final stage, keeping you updated. This is my second attempt in this grand prix, using the same deck. I'm just a bit lazy to grind in the Ranked mode when Blizzard has released so much interesting content. (Watching Drudgegrot and Lifedrinker dominate the ladder for free, without registration or SMS! Competitive elimination 6 vs. 6: trolls and livers - now also in arcade mode!)
This time, I encountered more challenging opponents - there was a burnt-out witch, a vengeful vampire, and a temple bishop, but I had good draws on my side. I predictably lost to Brambles, although it was a close match.

After watching RoB, I can't shake the thought that I should bring some of those leaders into Heroes of Might and Magic, but it's not working out; I can't decide which Rune leader to choose.

Sword – Catalina
Rune – Io is an option, but a Sarah would be better
Dragon – Zoya
Blood – Vira could work, probably
Shadow – Dark Knight would look amazing
Haven – well, Naosa is already a Haven card, and he’s a suitable leader.
Portal – this is tricky. Maybe Liria herself? But it’s unlikely anyone would like that as a leader. Orchid could work, since she’s already in the game, developing the doll theme.

Meanwhile, I made it to the finals with an overpowered deck (mid-range Spades Sword), and I tweaked the deck a bit. Two Bloods (Neutral and Neutral-Vengeance), two Runes (Neutral and Neutral-Dirt, from which Ginger was defeated in three Isreks), and a Summit Haven.
Yesterday, I had no luck with Aggro, so I decided to change Selvina a bit.

Magus is needed for the rune. Will can be used for Haven. Because he's awesome. Or someone from Charlotte's order. Veit for blood. Or Dark Jeanne. Or Vazu. I agree with the rest. By the way, I've even seen a mod for Portal Liria.
