On the forum, anything that resembles piracy is fiercely suppressed (according to the moderators). Mentions of the "Throne of the King" campaign from Heroes 5 are also met with disapproval. However, single-player scenarios for Heroes, created using the game engine without any copyrights, are freely distributed on the site – and this doesn't bother anyone... Where is the logic? How does "Throne of the King" differ from any fan-made scenario in this case? I would be glad to receive an explanation.

I can only add the following to Alan's post: maps can be paid, but only the developer/publisher can charge money for them. Regular users who create their own maps cannot distribute them on a commercial basis.
