The forum now has the option to pin the first post of a thread. Moderators should pay particular attention to this and organize some threads that require this option.

To pin the first post, go to the thread and then "Thread Options -> Pin 1st Post".

Another important change that moderators should pay attention to: Now, when deleting or moving a topic, there is a single checkbox: "send a notification to the author" - if it is checked, the forum will send a private message to the author of the topic, notifying them about the move or deletion of their topic. ! - When deleting, the message will include the reason for the deletion, which is also displayed when deleting a topic. It is recommended to always use notifications and write the reason for deletion - this will prevent unnecessary questions from users.

A list of users who are on the main page has been added; that is, those who can directly see the mini-chat. Already tested in the following browsers:

At the request of MasterPainKiller, the maximum file size for attachments with the .zip extension has been increased from 1,000,000 bytes to 3,000,000 bytes.

This style is also available on the Forum; you can change it at the bottom of the page (it's called HW_Hammers_Of_Fate). It's also set as the default, but you can install it manually.

A protection against automatic registration of spam bots has been implemented. Now, they will have to answer a very simple question related to Heroes, and this will stop many bots.

Since the bug related to the morale system was fixed today – /topic/at/68560/, we slightly adjusted the appearance of the buttons to better fit the atmosphere of Heroes. Now they look like this:

In one of the forum threads, I mentioned that the "Morale System" would return to HeroesWorld, and that day has finally arrived.

Today, a new morale system began operating on HeroesWorld. It runs entirely on a new software core and therefore no longer contains the errors that occurred when working with the old system.

The very concept of how this system works has also been changed.

Detailed information regarding the current "Morale System" can be found in Help->Morale System.

All accumulated morale points of HeroesWorld users have been reconverted in accordance with the new system.

Also, the chat's traffic consumption in idle mode has been reduced.

Previously, the traffic consumption per minute of waiting was: ~50 Kilobytes
Now, the traffic consumption per minute of waiting is: ~3 Kilobytes

Idle mode (waiting mode) - refers to when the chat page is open, but there is no activity in the chat, and there are no new messages.

For some users, after this update, it may become relevant to disable the mini-chat on the main page, so I will remind you that there is a corresponding checkbox for this in the control panel (see image #2).
