And you'll just end up with a bunch of weak units or a lot of weak units :D ANTIMAGIC isn't a cure-all, and it needs to be used very carefully, as it doesn't wear off until the end of the battle (as far as I remember). And you just watch as your best units die:smile34:, because you won't be able to heal them, bless them, or enhance them with magic. :D
Exactly:smile01: You're right, antimagic is VERY rarely needed, mainly only for the Barbarian, but maxing out the Nature magic to level 3...

No, in the old version of Heroes, it was a useless spell, but in Warlords (at least for me), it's perfect.

And you'll end up with just meat, or a lot of meat. ANTIMAGIC is not a cure-all, and it needs to be used very carefully, as it doesn't wear off until the end of the battle (as far as I remember). And you just watch as your best units die out because you can't heal them, bless them, or enhance them with magic.
But even so, a mage can't heal or enhance all units. Even if they do heal, it's only a portion, and not a very large one. Antimagic is needed, and ESPECIALLY needed by Nature. Firstly, it removes curses. Nature, I note, doesn't have exorcism. And if Order casts "Forgetfulness" on the elves, what will they do then? Just stand around doing nothing, to be turned into meat? And if they summon mantises (or something else), and Order wants to eliminate them with "Banishment"? And if Chaos starts splitting up the phoenixes? What will they heal or enhance?! Realistically, when antimagic won't be needed is in a battle against Life. Here, in my opinion, there will be competition to see who can enhance their units the most. Life, of course, has a significant advantage here. But that's a completely different story... P.S. Everything I described applies to the Antimagic spell, for those who didn't understand. It's really only needed for one (or maybe two at most) units. And the Nature mage, I assure you, will have plenty to do. There will be someone to enhance and heal (if they have the Blessing of Life in their spellbook!).
No, magic won't heal or buff all units. Even if it does heal, it's only a small part. Anti-magic is needed, and it's ESPECIALLY needed for Nature. Firstly, it removes curses. Nature, I note, doesn't have exorcism. And if Order casts "Forgetfulness" on the elves? What will they do then? Just stand around doing nothing, to be slaughtered?! By the way, Nature has a good combination: overall speed boost + overall luck boost. And if you cast anti-magic, then some unit will be left without a bonus. Besides, splitting into phoenixes isn't very powerful, but the strength of a dragon against a phoenix will be a problem for Chaos. Maybe I just don't know how to use anti-magic, but it NEVER helped me; it always just hindered me, and I've already explained why...

Pandora, you are right, but Nature was also given other spells, probably not just like that :smile16:

Pandora, you are right, but NATURE was also given other spells, probably not without reason.
And what am I denying? It seems I said that a druid will have plenty to do. But when they start casting Slow, Confusion, or Hypnotize on phoenixes, there will be no other choice. And they will cast... Just don't say that Slow is not effective. That's complete nonsense.

You are always right. ))). But playing against a human opponent is a real problem.

All of this is true, of course, but the Druid can also use Swarm to eliminate an enemy mage, for example. He casts Luck and Haste on it, and the bees go forward to take out the bad mage:) Pandora, I haven't checked this, so I'm asking you first of all: if Antimagic is cast on a Phoenix, can

Pandor, I haven't checked this, so I'm asking you first. If antimagic is applied to a Phoenix, can it not resurrect itself until it completely dies? P.S. Dragons are much more effective against Haven, in my opinion.
I'll answer, speaking for Pandor))). Yes. If antimagic is applied to a Phoenix, it cannot resurrect itself until it dies and the applied antimagic is automatically removed from it))) After the death of all Phoenixes, some of them will rise again)))

All this is true, of course, but a druid can also use the Hive to neutralize an enemy mage, for example; cast Luck and Haste on their own units and forward go the bees, keep that nasty mage busy
Sounds not bad. Using the Hive is a tactically sound move, but unfortunately, it only distracts for one turn. Anti-magic provides a full guarantee. It's cast once and, as they say, forever. Its goal is to protect the most valuable unit (that's a matter of preference). General Luck and Haste are GOOD, but it's important for me to save the phoenixes (for example) from all sorts of Disintegrates, Hands of Death, Hypnosis or (oh my god!) berserkers. Because if they are taken out, no amount of luck or haste will help.
Then that's another downside to anti-magic
ZYbr, why a downside? Some will rise. And some are always resurrected.
Sounds good. Using the Hive as a tactical maneuver is correct, but unfortunately, it only distracts for one turn. Anti-magic provides a complete guarantee. It is cast once, and it works "forever." Its purpose is to protect the most valuable unit (this is a matter of taste). Overall luck and speed are good, but it is important for me to protect the Phoenixes (for example) from various debuffs, Death Touch, hypnosis, or (oh my god!) Berserkers. Because if they are taken out, then no amount of luck or speed will help.
ZYbr, why the minus? A portion will revive. And a portion of them is always resurrected.
Only a portion will revive if they all die, and it will not be possible to resurrect them in the meantime, so they will leave one Phoenix flying.

It will only resurrect if everyone else dies, and it's impossible to resurrect it in the meantime, so they leave a single phoenix to fly around.
I don't understand... They never resurrected in the meantime; they always only resurrected after being completely defeated. An angel can resurrect itself whenever it wants, but phoenixes only resurrect when the last one dies.
